Then a ED-5Q Comprehensive Health Index was calculated by Health utilities index conversion table using the time-trade off (TTO) methods. Taking into account data censored due to ceiling effect of EQ-5D, the study used Tobit Model to analyze the impact of five dimensions of EQ-5D on VAS in minority people group and to analyze the main factors influencing Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) on minority people and Han population.ResultsThe data set of the study contains12820residents from10sample areas in Yunnan province.1. The five dimensions of EQ-5D scale generates total of243answers. Our study finds the study subjects produced91of243answers. The largest proportion of the study subjects, answer to health status is no problems in all five dimensions. 2. The average VAS of the study Population is82.29. Of them. the average score for the minority Population was82.29and80.84for the Han population. Among the minority population, the VAS of Meng minority is the highest, the second highest is Man population.3. ED-5Q Comprehensive Health Index of Yunnan minority people were0.884(UK conversion method) and0.957(Japan conversion method), they were all higher than Han nationality.4. Health related quality of life decreases with age, educational levels, employment status, and medical insurance also have impact on health related quality of life.Conclusions1.
