| The morphological structure and mechanical characteristics of potato stalk were researched for solving the winding,congestion,large power consumption on the feed inlet of potato harvestor,and retention of stalk and leaf which influenced next season crops.The mechanization of potato stalk harvestor was designed.It could complete the cutting and conveying the potato stalk in the field.Determined the main structural parameters and operating parameters for cutting and conveying parts by theoretical analysis and experimental research,and solved the problem of collecting the potato stalk by mechanization.The main research contents and conclusions:1.The research for potato stalk cross-section structure and mechanical properties.Using scanning electron microscope for observing potato stalk mesoscopic structure of cross-section,the analysis of morphological structure characteristics for the cross-section was done;and the mechanical properties of stalk was analyzed by cutting test on the basis.2.The process of cutting potato stalk was analyzed,and the maximum compressive and maximum contact pressure were obtained during the contact area.The analysis of the whole stalk was done,and the deflection curve equation and the displacement of the stalk in the horizontal direction were given.The mechanical analysis of the cutting process for the stalk was done,and the tangential force during the contact area was obtained on the surface of the blade and the stalk.Analysis of the stalk’s movement after cutting off,and the conveyer satisfied the conditions which could make the stalk separated from the conveyer in the end.3.Simulated of potato stalk cutting condition in the farm,and the potato stalk cutting test was constructed,by cutting tests it was found that the 5 cm height,blade,with supportor were better than 10 cm,serrated blade,and without supportor.The power consumption decreased with the cutting speed increased;the power consumption decreased with the increased cutting angle;when the blade and the cutter radial with the angle,the total power consumption of the cutting device was reduced;with the increasing number of cutting stalk,the total cutting power consumption was increased;with the loss of moisture content for the stalk,the cutting power consumption was reduced.Established the regression equation for the power consumption,the cutting experiment factors and interaction effect were researched.It was found that the power consumption reduced first and then increased with the increased of rotation speed and cutter angle when the blade and the cutter radial with the 0° angle.Determined the best combination with various factors level and done the validation test.4.The Virtual Prototyping was done for the cutting and collecting key mechanization of potato stalk.The functional design and structural design were done for the key parts,and the geometry parameters and spatial location were determined preliminary.5.The modal analysis for the cutter and blade was done,and the natural frequency changed little of the without prestressed and prestressed within a certain speed range.The parts were stable and reliable when the blade speed was less than 280r/min. |
