The global environmental deterioration caused by excessive greenhouse gas emissions poses great threat to people’s life and production.The international community calls on all countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.Transportation industry is an important source of greenhouse gas emissions.In order to save energy,reduce greenhouse gas emissions,and promote the sustainable development of Transportation industry,optimizing the intermodal hub location-allocation model,realizing Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in Transportation sector is a urgent Problem to be Solved.In the process of advancing the Belt and Road Initiative,many reasons,especially the unreasonable layout of hubs,have led to low operation efficiency of the CHINA RAILWAY Express,which limits the development of China-EU trade.Optimizing the layout of the hub has become an important way to improve the efficiency of the CHINA RAILWAY Express,but the existing hub configuration theory model lacks consideration of environmental factors such as environmental pollution and traffic congestion.In the practice of hub configuration,factors such as transportation efficiency,cost and greenhouse gas emissions are comprehensive considered in the process of hub configuration decision-making,but the existing single-objective hub configuration optimization theory model,which lack of comprehensive coordination with efficiency,cost and greenhouse gas emissions and other elements,can’t fully reflect the wishes of decision makers.At the same time,the single-objective optimization method has some limitations in solving complex multi-objective optimization problems.On the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign scholars’ research on hub configuration model and algorithm,this paper divided the problem of intermodal hub configuration into three types: single intermodal hub configuration problem,intermodal hub configuration problem with certain hub number and intermodal hub configuration problem with uncertain hub number.Considering cost,time and greenhouse gas emissions and other factors,this study designed hub configuration variable,hub and the non-hub node distribution variable,transport mode selection variable,and proposed intermodal hub location-allocation model based on the concept of sustainable development.Based on setting the fitness function of Pareto optimal solution set,optimizing the size of Pareto optimal solution set,improving the simulated annealing algorithm based on Pareto domination,this study solved the proposed hub location-allocation model and Optimize the algorithm through MATLAB platform to verify the validity of the model and algorithm.Finally,the proposed intermodal hub location-allocation model was used in the intermodal hub configuration of the CHINA RAILWAY Express west line,algorithm implementation procedures was designed with MATLAB software to solve the model and find the intermodal hub configuration program,the practicability of the model and algorithm was verified.From the perspectives of transportation economic,social and environmental sustainability,this paper proposed a single transport hub location-allocation model,a P-intermodal hub location-allocation model,and a capacity-free restricted intermodal hub location-allocation model based on the concept of sustainable development.The proposed model was applied to optimize the intermodal hub location-allocation of the CHINA RAILWAY Express west line,which provide diversified decision-making plans for the hub location-allocation of international corridors.At the same time,this study solved environmental pollution problems arising from the operation of the CHINA RAILWAY Express,and solved intermodal hub location-allocation problem to coordinate various modes of transport. |
