The Eurasian Continental Bridge has huge socioeconomic and political expectations placed on it as the largest railway infrastructure in the world. It, however, has problems of inadequate research on it low container traffic volumes along. This is in spite of its time-saving capability compared to sea-bound transport. The problem is that efficiency levels of the continental bridge are not clear and not adequate research has been done to explore ways of improving efficiency and flexibility. There is scarcity of information concerning how transport service providers can adapt to the increasingly uncertain business environment which affects land bridge dependent supply chains. This research aims to determine the characteristics of efficiency and flexibility of container transport along the Eurasian Land Bridge using survey approach; to evaluate efficiency and flexibility levels of container transport along the Eurasian Land Bridge; to develop a model of efficiency and flexibility of container transport along the Eurasian Land Bridge; and to recommend ways of improving efficiency and flexibility of container transport along the Eurasian Land Bridge.First of all, compared analysis of the efficiency of the container transport on the different branches of the Eurasian Land Bridge and used multi-objective optimization model based on immune multi-objective evolutionary algorithm and AIS based hybrid algorithm to solve optimization problem of container transport efficiency. Stratified sampling approach to select respondents from China, Kazakhstan and Russia. Data collection was done by questionnaire method and analysis was carried out by both descriptive statistics and matter-element analysis. Used structural equation modeling technique to work out flexible model of container transportation along the Land Bridge. Results show that infrastructure, human resource, information and time factors are important factors that determine efficiency and flexibility of the Eurasian Land Bridge. Mathematical model was used to describe the relations between the two, using the matter element analysis compared.
