Research On Red Tourism And The Inheritance Of Red Culture

Since2004our Party and our state have increasingly attached importance to thedevelepment of red tourism. And after the17thCPC National Congress, especiallyafter its sixth plenary session, the theoretical and realistic significance of promotingRed Tourism and inheriting Red Culture became particularly important. Thus thewhole society pay their attention to the inheritance of Red Culture and the furtherdevelopment and prosperity of the socialism culture, which also has become the hotissue focused by academic circles. Some scholars have studied the basic theoreticproblems about Red Tourism and Red Culture from different perspectives. However,so far few probed into inheriting Red Culture though the promotion of the RedTourism.The present dissertation, guided by Marxism materialist conception of history,seeks truth from facts, that is, on the basis of the dialectic unity of history, reality andtheories, the thesis makes comprehensive analysis by using the theoretical techniquesfor reference from other disciplines, such as political science, economics, and tourismmanagement, geography, adopting the system thinking and with the emphasis on bothquantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Theory discussion on Red Tourismpromotion and Red Culture inheritance has been made by the author, whose primarysources came from thoroughly on-the-spot investigation and survey that are related toRed tourism attractions nationwide as well as some Party history data.At first, thethesis analyses the connotation, characteristics and inheriting significance of the redtourism. Then, based on the system research of red culture, it discusses the interactionbetween red culture inheritance and red tourism. Additionally, it also reveals the basiclaws of the red cultural inheritance, according to which offered a better reference toinherite red culture. Finally, the thesis ponders over the current situation according tothese basic laws and searches for effective countermeasures to inherite red culturealong with red tourism.Red culture is with the distinguishing feature that formed in the process of theChinese people fighting against imperialism and feudalism, especially during theperiod of the new democratic revolution, the socialist construction and the period of reform and opening up, which are all led by the Chinese communist party. Besides,Red culture reflected the process of the domestication of Marxism in China, which isalso the inheritance and development of the excellent traditional culture of Chinesenation in their revolution and construction times. The main content are the sum totalof the material culture and spirit wealth accumulated and created by people of allethnic groups who are struggling hard and forging ahead under the leadership ofChinese communist party. Therefore, the inheritance of Red culture has greathistorical value and contemporary significance. In addition, Red tourism isburgeoning during the process of the red culture inheritance, while Red culture is thecore and soul of Red tourism, and also is the prerequisite and basis to its development.Red tourism is the carrier of Red culture inheritance. Of course, Red cultureinheritance has its inherent laws, it is the same with the case of the development ofred tourism and the inheritance of red culture. The countermeasures to promote Redtourism and inherit Red Culture are from five aspects: exploitation planning, scenicspots construction, exhibition centre, marketing management and guide interpretation.Red Tourism development and Red Culture inheritance become the important subjectof the cultural construction of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, and also thefocus of research to enhance cultural soft power of China.
