Workflow begins to rise in various fields to coordinate and complete a job as akind of automated processing technology in recent years., the technology has formed akind of ways of model construction and analysis with its development combined withother computer network technology and distributed communication technology, and beapplicated in the fields besides office automation and has the advantage in dealing withcomplicated events. This dissertation mainly researches on the theory of workflowmodel construction and analysis based on Petri nets, and proposes the method ofsystem reduction and simplification according to the operation characteristics andadvantage of workflow management system after its design and implementation, andcarries out model analysis combined with random Petri nets and probability theory.The main research of this dissertation can be summarized as follows:1. Present a kind of workflow model based on WF-net, and analyse its propertyutilizing Petri nets converts the model state to basic Petri nets state using reductionrules, and analyses the model activity, boudedness and invertibility.2. Put forward a feasible method of workflow model structure correctness basedon graph reduction method, which can accurately test on each conflict structure ofworkflow model, and gives the theory support and the concrete algorithm,then presentsthe workflow model simplification rules, optimization idea and concrete algorithmbased on Petri network.3. Constuct an environment of workflow simulation based Petri nets, First,convertworkflow model prouced in workflow tools to Petri nets model,then sets the simulationparameters and carrie out the simulation, analyse and evaluate various performance ofworkflow process definition and gets a better process model through the simulationperformance index. In order to ensure the correctness of workflow model structure andsimplify the complex workflow model, this dissertation presents a method of modelstructure conflict diction based on graph reduction and simplification. 4. Analyse the model using the method of covering tree and incidence matrix andstate equation of Petri nets; realize the effective evaluation of business process throughestablishment of the comprehensive evalution sytem suitable to enterprise processimprovement, focuse on the introduction of time performance of four kinds of processstructure.
