The reign of Jutinian is the connectting link between the era of the ByzantineEmpire. The golry of the Justinian epoch from his military albert. Justinian era of military strategy is divided into three types: thedefense-in-depth strategy, the strategy of offensive defense and defensive deterrentstrategy. Defense-in-depth strategy from the military reforms of Constantine the Great,which is basic military strategy of the Byzantine Empire. Offensive defense strategyis a special selection of the Byzantine Empire in the epoch of Justinian, the Byzantinearmy expedition of Justinian era military strategy. Defensive deterrence strategy in theera of Justinian prototupe to Maurce period has been perfect. Justinian regin of threemilitary strategy has to use the space. In this era of change the Byzantine Empire has itsown characteristics, establishes the system. In the early history of the ByzantineEmpire, survival is the need to first, therefore the military transformation is theessence of the era of great change. The4-7century,the eastern Mediterranean worldhas experienced Diocletian, Constantine the Great, Justinian, Maurice and Heracliusthe revolution in military affairs. These changes make the heavy infantry-centeredRome legions of classical age to the cavalry-centered Byzantine army of the Middle age. Justinian epoch is the era of the revolution in military affairs nexus. The Justinianera achievements of the revolution in military affairs, and other systerm perfect,making in the golden period of the Byzantine Empire. In this section, the article alsodiscussed the means of the grand strategy of the Byzantine Empire, as well as thestatus of the military strategy in the grand strategy.The second chapter analyzes the defense-in-depth strategy and application.Thedefense-in-depth strategy is a basic military strategy pioneered by Constantine theGreat, the future generations of the Byzantin Empire in use. In the Justinian eradefense-in-depth strategic use of wars between the Byzantine Empire and thePersian war. The war between the Byzantine Empire and the Persian hegemony warforce is relatively balanced beween the two empires. The defensive terrence strategy in the time ofJustinian is mainly used for the three siege of Rome in the Gotnic war and the Danubeline.The fifth chapter discusses the influence of three kinds of military strategy on theepoch of Justinian. Relationship between military strategy and the grand strategy is akind of interactive response. Military strategy is subordinated to the strategy, but alsoaffect the strategic use effect. Military strategy produced military deterrent is the coreof effective operation grand strategy. Three kinds of military strategy in the age ofJustinan is decided by the situation of the Mediterrean world, which in turn affect theMediterranean wprld historical development trend.
