Objective:Evaluating the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme for "hematemesis、hemafecia(Nonvariceal Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding)", to support a effective, feasible, comprehensive protocol of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine for clinical practice. Methods:Carrying out Clinical validation studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine d iagnosis and treatment scheme for"hematemesis、hemafecia(Nonvariceal Upper Gastroint estinal Bleeding)" in the49hospitals,571cases of "hematemesis、hemafecia(Nonvaricea1Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding)" were sequentially divided into two groups by rat io of3to1(3cases of the treatment group and1of the contrast group, by the t ime sequence). The treatment group cases were received the usual western medicine treatments adding with traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive treatments, whil e the contrast group cases were just received the usual western medicine treatment. By comparing the overall curative effect of two groups of patients after treatment, TCM symptoms and signs scores, western medicine illness scores, each single TCM symptoms, time of bleeding stop, volumes of blood transfusion, duration of hospital stays, cost of treatment and other indicators, observing adverse reactions in treatment process, Verify the effectiveness, economical efficiency and security of Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme.Analyzing datas by SPSS14.0pac kages.Results:Eventually571cases which met the standards were included (430cases in treatment group and control group141cases). The baseline material in two groups were comparable (P>0.05). Total effective rate, especially the cure rate of integrate d Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme group are better th an western medicine treatment group, there is statistical significance in comparison of two groups(P<0.05).western medicine illness scores of integrated Traditional Chi nese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme group are better than western medici ne treatment group after3days and7days, there is statistical significance in comp arison of two groups(P<0.05). TCM symptoms and signs scores of integrated Tradi tional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme group are better than weste rn medicine treatment group after7days, there is statistical significance in compari son of two groups(P<0.05).The improvement of each single TCM symptoms, such a s dizziness, palpitation, weakness, dysphoria, dry mouth, fear of cold, oppression in chest,a re statistical significance in comparison of two groups(P<0.05), integrated Tradition al Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme group is superior to western medicine treatment group. Time of bleeding stop integrated Traditional Chinese Med icine diagnosis and treatment scheme group is superior to western medicine treatme nt group, are statistical significance in comparison of two groups(P<0.05). The he moglobin after treatment is no statistical significance in comparison of two groups,b ut blood transfusion volumes of integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis a nd treatment scheme group are less than western medicine treatment group, there is statistical significance in comparison of two groups(P<0.05). Time of completing path is no statistical significance in comparison of two groups, but the total cost of integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme group patie nts are less than western medicine treatment group, the difference was statistically s ignificant (P<0.05).The patients satisfaction degree of the two groups have no stati stical significance (P>0.05).In the two groups have no serious adverse events, the m ain adverse reactions are nausea, diarrhea and ankle edema, disappearing after treat ment by reducing drug dose, the incidence of adverse events of the two groups ha ve no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion:By clinical validation, this Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment scheme for "hematemesis、hemafecia(Nonvariceal Upper Gastrointestinal Blee ding)" can improve the overall curative effect, ameliorate the clinical symptoms, red uce medical costs, no serious adverse events, reflect the characteristics and advantag es of TCM treatment for critical patients, deserve to clinical popularization and app lication.
