The HIRFL-CSR (Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou Cooling Storage Ring)had been constructed. Its experiment detection system is being constructed. Theexperiment detection system is composed of the external target system and the internaltarget system. The silicon microstrip array detector is one subsystem of the externaltarget facility (ETF) in HIRFL-CSR, which is located behind TPC (time projectionchamber) inside the gamma ball. Cooperated with the CsI detector in the gamma ball,the silicon microstrip array detector can be used to identify medium-heavy fragmentswith E-E particle identification technology. The detection cells of the siliconmicrostrip array detector are high-density and multichannel, so as to implement accuratemeasurement of a large number of events, the electronics should meet the requirementsof high integration, amount of channels, high accuracy and high speed. In order toimplement signal processing and data acquisition, the electronics had been developedfor silicon microstrip array detector. This thesis will discuss the electronics system forsilicon microstrip array detector of HIRFL-CSR-ETF.This electronics consists of12units, which contains48FEE (Front End Electronics)boards,12PXI-DAQ boards and1Trigger board. Each unit consists of4identical FEEs,1PXI-DAQ board and1Trigger board shared by12units. Each unit can process signalsof384channels from two double-side silicon microstrip detectors, so the electronics canprocess signals of4608channels. Based on the advanced ASICs, the FEE board canimplement signals processing of96channels from one side of the double-side silicon microstrip detector. Based on the high-speed ADCs and FPGAs, the PXI-DAQ boardwas developed, which can meet the requirement of high-speed data acquisition and canprocess signals from4FEEs. The trigger board is also developed to select valid events.The electronics had been tested in the lab and also had been measured with a siliconmicrostrip detector under the radiation of the alpha source. The results show that theelectronics can satisfy the requirement of physics experiments.
