Research On Architectural Design Innovation From Mathematical Economic Perspective

Architectural Design Innovation is always the key point of theoretical researchand practical application project in architecture. Now, on the background of thecommodity society transforming to the knowledge society, Studying ofArchitectural Design Innovation, which integrate theory with practice is necessary,We focus on the interaction between architectural design and economic force.Namely, we should research architecture in the context of economics, and studyeconomics in the context of architecture. Unfortunately, there are still far fromadequate studies in this important area of research. This is the background that ourresearch arising from.We have found that there is a good and mutually beneficial basis of the cross-over study of Architecture and Economics, and this cross-over study can provide auseful and further probability of developing Architectural Design Innovation. In thiscontext, our dissertation center on the architectural design innovation, focus on thefollowing four issues with the related theories of Economics and MathematicalEconomics,through studying on these issues, we obtain the useful theoretical results:The economic characteristics of Architectural Design Innovation.Economiccharacteristics include economic property and the socio-economic values.Theeconomic property of Architectural Design Innovation include: economic purposes,commercial property and production characteristics. Architectural design innovationcan optimize the allocation of resources, meet social needs, promote thedevelopment of architecture, generate new technologies and inventions, enrichhuman civilization (Soft economic environment)——Architectural designinnovation can create the socio-economic values. which provides the new furtherperspective and interpretation of architectural design innovation.The generative mechanism of Architectural Design Innovation.Generativemechanism is the economic environment and conditions those of research onarchitectural design innovations.This paper studies the economic and environmentalfactors that generating architectural design innovation (social demand and supply,the impact by the changing of ideology, science and technology, the personalmotivation, the relationship between architectural design innovation and thesystems of politics and economy, market and service, and socio-economic base,environmental resources). By summarizing and refining the above factors, proposea mathematical model about generating architectural design innovation. The practicalapplication is to reveal the complex reality that achieving architectural designinnovation must to be faced.In order to better apply this method, we study thevarious economic reality that influence the achievement of architectural designinnovation, summarize and reseach: Risk and Return, Economic externalities,Selection mechanism, Asymmetric information. By summarizing and refining theabove factor,propose a mathematical model about influencing the application ofarchitectural design innovation.These provide the possibility of more scientific andquantified practical application in the comparison of the values of architecturaldesign innovation.In the economic society, architectural design innovation is closely related tothe economy, we should discover and study this explicit or implicit relevance, anduse scientific and rational ways to express and explore them. This is very importantto study architectural design innovation further, and it’s also very important for thecombination of theory and practice in architectural design innovation.
