Eastern Liaoning Province, which is one of important gold producing area, is locatedin North China Block, Jiaoliao Old Block and Liaodong Rift. In this area, the main golddeposits can be found in phyllite, metamorphic sandstones and leptynite in Gaixian Groupand Dashiqiao Group. Currently, most of gold deposits are found in Dashiqiao-Gaizhou,Fengcheng-Qingchengzi and Wulong (Dandong) areas.Liaodong Rift is an intercontinental rift developed on the Archean Craton in thepolymetallic. During the long geological evolution, a series of important geological eventsoccurred (Li Sanzhong, Hao Defeng,2003). Regional metamorphic activities andlarge-scale magma intrusion activities in the Mesozoic have significant effects on golddeposits and other metallic and non-metallic minerals in this area. This article, based on the research of the metallogenic background of gold deposit inEastern Liaoning Province and the geophysical and geochemical prospecting information, establishes the metallogenic model of gold deposit in Eastern Liaoning Province, comprehensive information prospecting model, and location prediction model of golddeposit in Eastern Liaoning Province by researching metallogenic regularity of goldtypical deposit in Eastern Liaoning Province, and accomplish quantitative prediction of mineral resources mineral deposit quantitative prediction of gold deposit in EasternLiaoning Province finally. Besides, the research has achieved the following outcomes:1) Based on the analysis and research of gold deposit in Eastern Liaoning Province inconnection of regional geological background, the gold deposit’s feature of ore-occureedstrata, gold typical deposit and geological characteristics, the article makes a reference ofprevious scientific results concerning ore genesis of gold deposit in Eastern LiaoningProvince. Eventually, a conclusion is drawn that ore genesis in Eastern Liaoning Provinceis related to mesozoic magmatic activity, called Magmatic-Hydrothermal Gold Deposits2) By analyzing and researching characteristics of geochemistry statistical parametersof11elements which are closely related to gold deposit in the working area, it is foundthat: Even though the average content of gold element in the working area is far less thanbackground value of gold element in the north of north china block, it has somecharacteristics such as strongly discneteness and strongly enrichment. Therefore, it makesthe gold element not distributed uniformly. In certain areas, the gold content is high, whichprovides a good material base for gold deposit’ formed. The relationship of11elements isanalyzed with multivariate statistical analysis method such as cluster analysis and factoranalysis, and conclude with four types of The abnormal structure elements of typica golddeposit–Baiyun gold deposit (Au-As-Sb), Maoling gold deposit (Au-As-Bi-Mo),Xiaotongjiapuzi gold deposit (Au-As-Bi-Mo-Sb) and Wulong gold deposit (Au-As-Bi-W).3) The method of multivariate statistical analysis such as feature analysis, Thequantitative theory Ⅳand correspondence analysis shall be applied to choose62the orecaused abnormal from89Au geochemical abnormal and classify them, the results arelisted as follow:4Baiyun type abnormal,36Maoling type abnormal,11Wulong typeabnormal and11Xiaotongjiapuzi type abnormal.4) According to the research of the typical gold deposit in Eastern Liaoning Provinceand the gold’s reginal metallogenic regularity, the article concludes with the metallogenicmodel in this area and establishes comprehensive information prospecting models integrated information prospecting model in Eastern Liaoning Province.5) The research applies geological unit methods to divide statistical unit, and theprinciple is that:①the chosen Au geochemical anormalies range and locations of theknown gold deposits in Eastern Liaoning Province locate the statistical unit;②thesmallest catchment basin boundary in the study area is considered as geological statisticsunit boundary. There are254statistical unit, including62statistical unit.6) The method of multivariate statistical analysis shall be applied to establish thegold’s location prediction model in Eastern Liaoning Province, and prospect allthestatistical uni in the study area. The location prediction model choose214effectiveprediction unit with high metallogenic probability including the ore bearing unit, whichare divided into A, B, C and D levels in accordance with metallogenic favourability degreeunit, whereas there are34A-level unit,69B-level unit,52C-level unit and59D-levelunit.7) Two the quantitative prediction methods (the logical information method and orebearing geological body volume parameter method) shall be applied to make a thequantitative prediction methods of unit above C level (including C level). If the logicalinformation method is applied, it is prospected that the gold deposit’s total resoureces is1568585.51kg, and there are22large-scale gold deposits and46middle-scale golddeposits; if ore bearing geological body volume parameter method is applied, it isprospected that the gold deposit’s total resource is1442179.83kg, and there are8large-scale gold deposits and51middle-scale gold deposits.8) According to quanititative forecasting results with two different methods, thepredictiong unit classification principle, in terms of which the prediction unit are dividedinto I, II and III levels, can be determined. Following the established the gold metallogenicprovince division and the principles of classification, it is possible to divide goldmetallogenic province in Eastern Liaoning Province into three levels (I, II and III): Thereare3I-level gold metallogenic province (the prediction of total resource is about737t),3 II-level gold metallogenic province (the prediction of total resource is about267t) and14III-level gold metallogenic province (the prediction of total resource is about338t).
