On The Model Report Of The Great Leap Forward Age

Promotion with model is generally is a common way for the Communist Party of China to carry out revolution and construction work, model report is precisely the reflection and application of this revolution and construction work method in the field of journalism and propaganda. In this context, the model report at least has three meanings:firstly, the model report is the party’s ideological and political work method; Secondly, the model report is a basic idea of the party newspaper journalism and propaganda; thirdly, the model report is a basic mode of party newspaper news report. Furthermore, the model report, as the "watershed of socialism and capitalism news causes", is a major ’feature’ of socialist news report, which almost includes all "superiorities" of socialist news reports, it also almost conceals native drawbacks of socialist news reports. Therefore, investigation of the history practice of model report is an important method to review the development state of China’s socialist journalism cause, and it is also an important way to explore China’s socialist press reform.As we all know, the Great Leap Forward period is the first peak of model report development after the founding of new China, it is also a turning point of model report from normal sate to the aberration. The paper takes the model report during the Great Leap Forward period as the object of study, aims at deepening the history practice of model report during the Great Leap Forward period through systematic study of model report during the Great Leap Forward period for exploring the real reason of new report anomie during the Great Leap Forward period, and summarizing the historical experience and lessons of news cause development, thereby providing historical contemplation and practical reference for the future socialism journalism development.The main contents of this paper include six aspects:(a) Model report history and theory origin, the model report is studied from two dimensions of the history and theory, thereby improving our recognition and mater on the essence of model report, and laying study basis;(b) History retrospection of model report during the Great Leap Forward Period. This part focuses on describing and exhibiting the basic situation of model report during the Great Leap Forward period with the model report text during the Great Leap Forward period as basis, thereby laying foundation of historical data for the study development;(c) The distortion of model report during the Great Leap Forward period and its characteristics.
