Multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) problem, whose theories andmethods are widely used in the areas of economics, management, engineering, military, society, etc, such as, investment decision-making, selecting the address of factory, institute evaluation, project bidding, ranking of industrial department develops andcomprehensive evaluating on economic results, is becoming an important part ofmodern decision-making science, systems engineering and management science.MADM is to rank all the limited projects and select the optimal one through a certainway with the information of decision-making. Because of complexity and uncertainty ofthe objective things and fuzzy thinking of humanity, it is often difficult for people togive precise numbers in decision-making process, the attribute values take the form offuzzy information such as triangular fuzzy numbers, interval-valued triangular fuzzynumbers or intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Therefore, the research on fuzzy MADM hasimportant theoretic and practical significance. This paper is mainly concerned with thefuzzy MADM problems under some situations, and the main research works are asfollows:1. Study on the MADM problem with dynamic triangular fuzzy numbers. Withrespect to dynamic multi-attribute decision making problem, in which period weightsand attribute weights of each period are given and attribute values at different periodsare expressed in triangular fuzzy numbers, based on the basic ideology of VIKOR(Vlsekriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje),a new decision makingmethod is presented. A numerical example for multi-period investment decision makingindicates that the proposed method is practical and feasible.2. Study on the MADM problem with interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers. With respect to multi-attribute decision making problem, in which attribute weights areunknown and attribute values are expressed in interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers, based on the basic ideology of grey relational analysis(GRA),an extended decisionmaking method is developed. A numerical example for personnel selection is given byusing the method.3. Study on the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem withintuitionistic fuzzy numbers. With respect to multi-attribute group decision makingproblem, in which the weights of attribute and decision makers are unknown andattribute values are expressed in intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, a decision making methodbased on grey relational analysis is developed. A numerical example for personnel selection is shown to demonstrate the practicality and feasibility of the method.4. Study on the MADM problem with dynamic intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Withrespect to dynamic multi-attribute decision making problem, in which period weightsand attribute weights of each period are given and attribute values at different periodsare expressed in intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, based on the basic ideology of VIKOR,anew decision making method is proposed. A numerical example including anapplication to multi-period investment decision making verify that the developedmethod is feasible and effective.5. Study on the MADM problem with intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. With respect to multi-attribute decision making problem, in which attribute weights aregiven and attribute values are expressed in intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, anextended grey relational analysis method is developed. A numerical example forsupplier selection is given by using the method.
