Specifically, this thesis mainly concerns about their own occupational story by" Ta Kung Pao" has been told and about the story of "Ta Kung Pao" by peers, and also the specific way of these stories. The author describes the the story about "Ta Kung Pao", at the same time, is telling about the Chinese press story, telling the story of their understanding about journalistic occupation and identity.This paper discusses the occupational ideology of "Ta Kung Pao" in Chinese journalism community, the main point is,"Ta Kung Pao" occupational ideology served as discourse resources by journalism community in Chinese journalism transitional time. The newspaper through a series of journalistic practice and self-advertising of discourse to reinvent itself and journalism community’ image,at the same time, its occupational ideology (occupational concept,occupational image,occupational authority, occupational role and identity) successfully transform a occupational " symbols" and become into the shared symbols of the groups. This also become as a "collective memory".in contemporary Chinese journalism community.Through the investigation of journalism community and occupational ideology interaction, to help us to better understand the complex relationship between "Ta Kung Pao" and modern Chinese journalism and other parties, so this paper is a beneficial attempt to study "Ta Kung Pao" with a new perspective.
