| Cultural change has always been a hot spot for scholars, and it has raised the wide attention of scholars during the great development and prosperity in China. For the regions and local variations of China are different, regional studies have become the new trend of the research on the cultural changes. Han River Basin in geography of China and the core position of history and culture makes its culture an important part of Chinese national culture. Folk sports are the important part of Han River cultures and relatively are more typical for underdeveloped area.Three typical cases of Han River valley "dragon" in sports are selected as the object of studying folk sports change in Han River basin mainly because they have the homogeneity, represent the terrain and the development trend of the difference. They are dragon boat, the Han River middle lower segment of the high dragon and grass dragon. The three cases were located at the city, the outskirts of the city and a typical rural. The methods of literature, field survey, historical restoration, profile analysis and comparative are adapted to thorough study the three typical cases. The folk sports culture structure is subdivided as the research analysis framework of sports culture by referring to the theories about human culture and using science of sports culture. Combined with other related data about Han River basin folk sports, analyzed the cause of Han River Basin folk sports culture change and changing characteristics, functional changes, explore the change rule and development path. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:first, according to the folklore, cultural evolutionism, social transformation theory, the time is mainly limited in the neoteric and modern time. Han River Basin folk sports, on the basis of the "three Dragon Sports development process, are divided into four development stages:1. the origin of stage, it mainly is the legend of the source; 2. the traditional development stage, before land reform (before 1953).3. Fracture stage, in general, it is the cultural revolution, but also influenced by the agrarian revolution, natural disasters and the production technology so that the three projects exist differences (Dragon 195?-1984, dragon boat from 1953 to 2010); 4.stage of the Renaissance, after the reform and opening up (1985-). The three cases reflect not only the similar background of social changes, but the complete differences. Secondly, the causes of Han River Basin folk sports culture changes. The mainly external causes are the geographical environment, far or near city, social organizations and political system, economic conditions, population migration, the modern culture and modern sports dissemination and so on; the mainly internal causes are folk sports own development, folk sports culture structure, folk sports subject consciousness and so forth. Also, the interaction of internal and external factors are the cause of folk sports culture change. Thirdly, according to the Historical School of cultural change and the theory of Communication School, two characteristics of folk sports culture changes are summarized from the diachronic and synchronic. The diachronic aspect:uneven temporal dependence, mystery and openness, inheritance and variation, competition and harmony, abundance and collective. As for the synchronic development, the main features of the theme are equality, temporal and spatial extension, dissemination of information, entertainment and fitness theme, broad participation, diversified development trend. Fourthly, according to the theory of culture change function school’s point of view, the cultural and social functions of the Han River Basin folk sports are analyzed which mainly are the inheritance national culture memory to unite the public feelings and promote the harmonious development of socialism; economic function to increase the economic income and promote the economic growth; different economic function in different periods; ecological environment with the function of folk sports ecological environment optimization. Fifthly, the law of folk sports culture changes are explored. The natural environment is a prerequisite for the change of the folk sports; economic conditions is the basis of the changes; main demand is the key to the change of the folk sports; cultural identity is the foundation of folk sports culture vicissitude; innovation is the soul of the folk sports vicissitude; deconstruction and reconstruction is the change of the folk sports mechanism. The path of the Han River Basin folk sports culture’s development combining with the competitive sports, the school education, public body building, the road of industrialization of sports, spontaneous scattered, and the ecological environment to adapt the development path is explored. Finally the relevant revelation is draw:1. Wake up folk sports and cultural memory, and strengthen the folk custom sports culture identity, and promote the harmonious development of the society; 2. To establish perfect mechanism of the folk sports culture protection; 3. Pay attention to folk sports resources to transform to the folk custom sports industry; 4. development of various mode, pay attention to the folk custom sports culture innovation. |
