Research And Development Of Cultural Heritage Of Folk Sports Spatial Vision

Since the 21st century, the banner of the cultural diversity has been high up. Also, protecting and developing the folk culture has become a hot issue in academic research. Folk sports, which is from the living environment of Chinese agricultural civilization, is regarded as an important part of the folk culture, and its living space is now faced with the severe atrophy during the promotion of our country’s industrialization,agricultural modernization and urbanization. Under this circumstance, though many folk sports have already applied for the intangible cultural heritages to protect themselves, the protection is not enough. To study how to survive and develop in modern society is the ultimate goal. Therefore, the research on the folk sports in modern social activities become a very meaningful topic. In addition, though most people have already participated in the sports fitness ranks owing to the promotion of the nationwide physical fitness campaign, there are still some resistance caused by the impropriety of the sports events. As a part of the traditional culture, folk sports has strong feelings in people’s lives, and it is more popular among the masses.Consequently, the folk sports in the modern Millennium City Park is taken as the object of study in this research. By means of documentary, to conclude, arrange and analyze by consulting a great mass of previous data on the research of folk sports, which establishes a good foundation for a further research;with field survey, we can deeply know the situation of folk sports in the modern Millennium City Park by means of personal involvement, interview, and so on; combined with theories of folklore and sociology, it lays stress on the analysis of the main body, the development status, the situation of successors, etc of the typical folk sports projects, so as to summarize the mode of protection and development, hoping to provide some reference and experience for the development of our country’s folk sports.This paper introduces the case as the Millennium City Park, is a specific geographical location, we regard it as a cultural space, and its intangible cultural heritage cultural space is different. Millennium City Park covers an area of 600 acres, is located in the profound cultural heritage of the ancient city of Kaifeng Lake Dragon Court, the Millennium City Park to Zhang Zeduan "Qingming Festival" as a blueprint, was founded in 1992 July, officially opened on October 28,1998, on the Millennium City Park through 18 years of efforts to improve, more and more realistic the Northern Song Dynasty ancient capital Bianliang reproduce the construction pattern, local folk and city life. In this paper, through the perspective of cultural space, the Millennium City Park in the folk culture resources, development status and existing problems of folk sports culture in the park, the expectation of the cultural space, folk sports bring more inspiration in the future development.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part:introduces the research background, related concepts on folklore, folk sports and cultural space, combined with the research of default related literature summary and Study on the folk sports culture space are summarized, the research mainly adopts the method of statements.The second part:elaborate the problems and misunderstanding in the development of folk sports in our country, then the use of literature, field surveys and other methods, the Millennium City Park as a cultural space for case analysis, introduces the resources of folk culture and folk sports, development status and the typical folk sports project.The third part:On the foundation of studying the existing documents and analyzing some cases, this research goes on analyzing the revelation for the development of other folk sports from the development mode in the Millennium City Park. What the revelation believes are:It pays attention to the inheritance and transmission of folk sports, and it also makes folk sports activities into the local characteristics of tourism. What’s more, it provides many folk sports performances spaces. Last but not least, the developments of folk sports are supposed to return to the modern life.In the end, we come to the conclusion that the problems exist in the process of the folk sports in the Millennium City Park so that we can point out the problems and raise the questions for the follow-up study and implemented activities.
