Discipline constitutes Order. School discipline is both the important leverage and theimportant guarantee for moral education. School discipline can’t work in every aspect ofmoral education, but school moral education can’t work without the assistance fromschool discipline. At present, there is seldom the special study on how to make schooldiscipline play a positive role of moral education, on the development of both rightpersonality and sound development, which hindered the accomplishment of the purpose ofschool discipline. There needs more in-depth analysis and special study on such aspectslike why the school discipline has the function of moral education, how to play a positiverole and what the current situation is. In the opinion of both the theoretical logic andcurrent situation, the research tried to discover the relation between school discipline andmoral education, and explore a practical way by moral discipline, for both standardizedmoral education and positive morality.School discipline possesses two functions: Management and Education. Schooldiscipline is a necessary angle of view for school moral education, because it meets thepurpose, the ethicality, and regularity of moral education. School discipline is animportant economy source, as well as an important mechanism of both punishment andexcitation. At present, there is deviation, which splits the school discipline and moraleducation. This dissertation analyzed some related problems which lie in the schooldiscipline, such as making, execution and education, and investigated the primary cause.In the cause of the content, there are crises of validity, normalization and rationality. In thecause of making procedure, there is the lack of normalization, democracy and openness.In the cause of the definition of the purpose of education of school discipline, there isdeviation, which neglects systematic discipline education, treats discipline education asthe education of discipline knowledge, and takes cramming method of teaching fordiscipline education. In the cause of execution, there is the lack of ones, which pays toomuch attention to serious suppression and neglects procedure equality, prefers punishment to education.It is valuable to make a serious research on how to make school discipline play abetter “role” on moral education, and how to turn out students with particular awarenessof discipline. The college administrators should change their traditional concept ofdiscipline, from tool to purpose, from management to education, from discipline tofreedom. Meanwhile, they should pay more attention to “goodness” nature of discipline.Particularly speaking, firstly, the administrators should construct legal, rational andnormalized text of school discipline; secondly, they should accomplish the makingprocedure, ensure the validity of the authority, the making staff and the making procedure.Thirdly, the systematic education of discipline for college students is the key link tointegrate school discipline and school moral education. Such education should obey thepsychological system of discipline education, receive commands scientific educationtheory, optimize the content, focus on teaching methods and improve the quality ofdiscipline education. Finally, promote the execution ability, make clear the execution staff,insist on the scientific execution principles, and accomplish the execution procedure.Generally speaking, the college administrators should, through making a workableoperation system, promote the accomplishment of school discipline in purpose of moraleducation.
