Faith is the deep structure of humanity’s inner world, which is also the internal basis of making people human. Faith embody the ultimate care for the World and life, which also establish to ask, pursue and answer how the World and life should be., Marxism is a kind of science, also a kind of faith. As a kind of science, it reveals the rules of the development of things. Marxism is the forceful ideology weapon to recognize and transform the word. As a kind of faith, it is the belief and pursuit to Marxism, also the spiritual forces and banner of inspiration. College students are the hope of a country and nation, their faith to Marxism relates to the development of Chinese modernizations.This thesis is directed by the dialectical materialism and historical materialism, also based on the relevant discussion about faith education in the classical Marxism and Marxism with Chinese characteristics. In this thesis, the theoretical problems, the reality of the situation, the target and principles, contents and methods, development tendency of Marxism faith education of contemporary college students will be analyzed and discussed by data studies, investigation research, class analysis and comprehensive analysis.In the Introductory part, it introduced the cause and research significance about the Marxism faith education of contemporary college students. Then the research ideas and methods, the difficulty and main emphasis, the innovation were put forward after investigating the relative research status.The theoretical explanations about Marxism faith education of college students were done in the first chapter. Firstly, the scientific connotation about Marxism faith education of college students were research, including the conceptual analysis of faith, the formation of Marxism faith and the connotation of Marxism faith education of college students. Secondly, the theoretical basis of the Marxism faith education to contemporary college students were analyzed, including the relevant discussion about faith education in the classic Marxism and Marxism with Chinese characteristics. Finally, the research necessity about Marxism faith education of contemporary college students were analyzed, including the request of higher-education reform, the request of Marxist theory education of the college and the college students" historical mission.The status about Marxism faith education to contemporary college students were analyzed in the second chapter, the notable performance of Marxism faith education of college students were firstly analyzed. These performance were displayed in that the ways of faith education become more diversified, the effect are significant in culturing youth Marxist, and most of college students have firm ideality and belief. Then, the main problems about the Marxism faith education of contemporary college students were presented. These main problems were showed in the insufficient pertinence of education goals and reality, the diviation of education contents, the old-fashioned education methods, the unclear comprehension and insufficient emotion to Marxism in some college students. So, finally, the main causes of these problems were analyzed. They display in the insufficient effectiveness in college education, the affections of some negative factors in the social environment, the permeation of the diversified faith in some families.The targets and principles in Marxism faith education of college students were analyzed in the third chapter. The main targets should include cultivating youth Marxist, creating healthy personality and establishing moral support for college students. The principles should be the dominant principle, the tension principle, the permeability principle and hierarchy principle.The contents and methods of the college students’Marxism faith education were discussed in the forth chapter. The education on Scientific spirit and humanistic spirit is the basic content, socialistic core value system education is the dominant content and the education of good tradition of Chinese nation and education of Chinese revolutionary tradition both are expansive contents. Then, the methods should include self-education, heuristic education, value clarification, comparative education, emotional experience, etc.The development tendency about Marxism faith education of college students were discussed in the fifth chapter. Marxism faith education of college students should move toward sociality tendency, networked tendency and specialization tendency.
