In the history of research on Lao-tzu,Qing is a very noteworthy dynasty. This paper studies the following questions:the Thinking and academic in Qing Dynasty; Commentaries of Lao-tzu in Qing Dynasty; The Different Studies of Lao-tzu in qing dynasty. I reveal its heritage and evolution fully, and describe its academic status.The remains of the Qing dynasty literature is very rich,which unmber is more than any other period. Researchers have complex identity and background knowledge. Emperors and other sectors of society was interested in Lao-tzu. The Studies of Lao-tzu in qing dynasty has three times as follows:Firstly, early Qing dynasty. Regime change affected the Studies of Lao-tzu in early Qing dynasty, In order to quickly restore damaged by war society, The emperor and his ministers attached to Lao-tzu, trying to find ways to govern the country. Scholars of different life choices makes them reading of Lao-tzu are not the same,which showing a colorful look of the studies of Lao-tzu. In the Kangxi period, as a unified society and the country’s economic recovery, Neo-Confucianism was established as the official ruling ideology, Neo-Confucianism annotation was increased, which affecting a wide range.Secondly, the mid-Qing Dynasty. Textual criticism is popular in Qianlong and Jiaqing period. Textual version appeared in the studies of Lao-tzu. Of course, the study is not limited in textual in Qianlong and Jiaqing period. It also has a very rich ideological. This time, the Neo-Confucianism is still the official ruling ideology.which has great impact in the studies of Lao-tzu. Some Confucian scholars want to criticize incorrect ideas,and the chose Lao-tzu. They want to clarify misunderstandings on Lao-tzu, and spread the right idea. Confucian scholars’behavior caused a response. Part of the initiative move closer to the Confucian religious believers, and explain the value of political thought in Lao-tzu. Another part still insist Taoists academic tradition of Taoism,who consider that Lao-tzu is an Inner Alchemy books.Thirdly, the late Qing Dynasty. The late Qing society is very volatile. Many scholars pay attention to explore the the value of political thought in Lao-tzu, expecting to gain way to save the crisis, Which return to text interpretation Huanglao school. At the same time, along with a large number of incoming Western culture in the late Qing Dynasty, some scholars have converged Huanglao and the Western political thought. The research unprecedented new situation. In addition, the late Qing Dynasty Taoists of commentaries also showed strong feelings salvation. They take an active interest in Reality,and combines inner alchemy of the law and statecraft of the Road.They will see it as a tool to teach Superstition,and rely on Lu Zu worship which is popular in Civil society. They hope that the way to persuade people to do good faith, in order to achieve the purpose of social change.The Studies of Lao-tzu in qing dynasty inherited a solution since the Song Dynasty’s academic tradition,on the other hand also developed new features. There are three main aspects:First, there has been a large number of textual works in the Qing Dynasty; Second, the Studies of Lao-tzu in qing dynasty has a strong tendency to statecraft; Third, it is a blend of interaction with the Western release for the study opens up new academic direction. All in all, the Studies of Lao-tzu’s heritage and evolution changes closely of the times,which has both the academic tradition of past inheritance,and also for its development opens up new possibilities, suggesting a new direction, which have an important role in academic history of the Studies of Lao-tzu.
