As one of the Taiwan Neo-Scholasticism academic representatives,John C.H. Wu made a major contribution to the early development of Taiwan Neo-Scholasticism.From the research of philosophy of natural law as the beginning, he tried to intermingle East and West ideology and culture through different perspectives,such as literature, translatology, religion, philosophy. At the same time, through the research aimed at the Spiritual growth of Christian, he re-interpreted the intrinsic spirit of Chinese philosophy, and tried to achieve "Beyond East and West " theory vision by the help of Catholicism. Wu illustrated Christian culture through Chinese traditional culture, and promoted Chinese traditional culture with Christian culture. What he had done basically confirmed the direction of Taiwan Neo-Scholasticism. After illustrating the influence of his research process to his thought development, the paper mainly analyzed the main ideology and contribution of Wu in the field of law and philosophy, literature, translatology, religion, philosophy, etc. From the overall grasp of the ideological structure and internal relationship, the paper also revealed how Wu made use of Christian spirit and Classic Rationale to achieve "Beyond East and West " theory vision.
