On The Process Of Zhu Xi’ Doctrines Spread Into Koryo (from1290to1409)

This paper takes the process of Zhu Xi’ doctrines introduced toKoryo,the transmission and development of Zhu Xi’ doctrines inKoryo and its influence as the research object.The previous studiesplaced great emphasis on the field of philosophy and literature ofZhu Xi’ doctrines in Koryo,and discuss so simply. Even with thecorresponding introduction， there is short of macroscopicalanalysis and comparison, is short of Koryo scholars individualstudies that played great part in the spread and development of ZhuXi’ doctrines, and short of comparative analysis of the characteristicsof each developing stage in the late Koryo. In this paper, Icollected,read and reorganized the Chinese historical data,lookedthrough the “Korean history collection series” that South Koreaissued, used the experience of Chinese and South Korean Scholars’research results for reference. By using the methods of a case studyand group study, phase analysis and comparison, this paper wants todiscuss the process of Zhu Xi’ doctrines spread into Koryo and itsdevelopment, in order to find the general laws and the differentstages of the differences that Zhu Xi’ doctrines spread anddevelopment in Koryo.This paper focuses on the study of the times that ten well-known scholars in the late Koryo went to Yuan Dynasty or Ming Dynastyand the residence time in China and the conditions they have mutualexchanges, learning about Zhu Xi’ doctrines with the Yuan Dynastyor Ming Dynasty Confucian scholars. This paper wants to discussthe different roles and contributions they plays in the process of ZhuXi’ doctrines spread into Koryo and communication anddevelopment, to summarize the different stages of Zhu Xi’ doctrinesfeatures in the late Koryo, and to analyse the social influence that itcaused in late Koryo and early Korea. The ten scholars have comedown in one continuous line of succession relation, which helps usto better understand the inheritance and development of Zhu Xi’doctrines in Koryo.Based on the above research, this paper divides thecommunication and development stage of in Koryo,compares thedifferences of each stage, analyses the causes of these phasicdifference, find the spread characteristics and laws of foreign ideas,so as to improve the cultural awareness between China and Korea.
