Acupuncture Combined With NLP Therapy Clinical Efficacy Of The Treatment Of Depression

ObjectiveBy combining acupuncture Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) of clinical efficacy of the treatment of depression, and to explore acupuncture treatment of depression efficacy and safety of acupuncture for treatment of depression may explore mechanisms for acupuncture treatment of depression provide a reliable experimental basis, to provide reference for further guidance clinic method.Methods66 patients with depression from a psychological clinic, were randomly divided into experimental and control groups, the control group using NLP, the specific content including hypnosis, mind set anchor, and swish (Shoop) mode of treatment,60 minutes per treatment; experimental group on the basis of the control group, first, select Yintang, Baihui, Shenmen (double), Neiguan (double), Taichong (double) to be acupunctured, after gaining the strength, twisting reinforcing-reducing method 1 minutes, and the needles stay for 30 minutes, then apply to NLP therapy (the same as the control group). Two groups were treated once a week,10 times as a course. Both groups, before treatment, after completion of the first course of treatment to fill HAMD, SDS, and SF-36 questionnaire, and detailed records of all information. Final completion of the experiment and a total of 60 cases were recorded in detail. Each of the experimental group and the control group contains 30 cases.Results(1) in both groups reduced HAMD, SDS scores, improved the degree of depression, compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Experimental group and control group, the difference was statistically significant.(2) the two groups could increase SF-36 questionnaire score, the degree of improvement in patients with depression, compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Experimental group and control group, the difference was statistically significant.In conclusion(1) Simple NLP treatment to some extent reduce the patient HAMD, SDS scores and increase SF-36 questionnaire score, improve the degree of depression in patients. Combined with acupuncture therapy, efficacy can be greatly improved.(2) the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of depression is not clear, probably cortical NE by regulating the brain cortex function and influence NE and 5-HT and other neurotransmitter levels and other ways, the specific mechanism needs further study.
