Ethics Research About The Drug Safety In China

This article is about the ethical problems in the research of drug safety. It is a first joint research of pharmacy ethics, research ethics and business ethics to point out ethics problems of drug safety, and propose the countermeasures in China.Drug, a kind of special commodity, is related to the health of the general public. Weakened drug specificity is accompanied by a variety of drug safety events, threatening human life. Therefore, the entire process of drug research, production and sales should be supervised.Pharmaceutical development is the basis of pharmacy ethics and business ethics, in turn, development of pharmacy ethics and business ethics can lead a better development of pharmacy. So we must pay attention to pharmacy ethics and business ethics problem. Clinical trial of drug is the most important research element before it goes on the market. We found ethical problems about clinical trial from the point of view of research ethics, such as no-standardized informed consent, violations of the life and health benefits of subjects, insufficient ethics train for ethics committee members, and so on.We analyzed the issues in the field of drug marketing to find a variety of problems in drug quality, marketing means, drug price and drug supply, drug retail sales, such as disqualification of drug quality, sales of counterfeit drugs, commercial bribery, false medicine advertising, network counterfeit products, unreasonable drug price, drug abuse, and so on. We found the common absence of pharmacy ethics and business ethics in the field of drug marketing.The common absence of ethics in the field of drug marketing was a important reason of various types of drug safe events. Schools should pay attention to students’ethics education since education started. People who worked in pharmacy industry should regard ethics education as the important content of training. In the process of development of pharmacy industry they must get further education of ethics. Only in this way can they form character according to the correct value, which could influence pharmacy activity, develop their self-discipline, and standardize their behavior.
