INTRODUCTIONProfessor Xiao Chengcong was born in Windsor in Traditional Chinese Medicine, who is the first one of four famous doctors in Beijing. she is Xiao Longyou’s first granddaughter, and lived with grandparents s ince childhood her grandfather acted as a teacher of TCM and influenced Professor Xiao very much s ince childhood. In September 1959, Professor Xiao was admitted to Beijing Chinese Medical College, which complied his grandfather’s wishes. She was well received the impact of Ren Yingqiu, Zhao shaoqin, Liu duzhou’s and others and systematically studied the basic theory of Western Medicine and well learnt the basic skills of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine during six-year study. Therefore she has laid a good foundation on the clinical application of the means of medical diagnosis and treatments of diseases and of combination of syndrome differentiation and disease.Ⅱ. THE TEACHER’S ACADEMIC ORIGINSA.Family Academic Origins Professor Xiao systematically adhered and studied from the family and the school. Her grandfather devoted all his efforts to teach her how to study TCM well every weekend in her freshman year in Beijing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her grandfather advocated to eliminate sectarianism and adopt the best with modest hearts.Late in her primary school and middle school, Pro. Xiao liked to collect and preserve the specimens of Chinese Medicine in her family pharmacy, and took them our to appreciate, study and identify when she was free. Accumulatly, she formed the basic knowledge of the characters, functions and treatment indication of many frequently-used Chinese Medicine.Affacted by her family, Pro. Xiao has an affection for being a doctor, and she loves literature and has read large amount of literature works, which gives her a profound literature fundation and paves her way to learn Chinese Medicine and to understand the true meaning of Chinese Medicine. Professor Xiao systematically adhered and studied from the family and organically combined the theory with clinical practice in an rigorous academic attitude and in sound accumulation, Pro. Xiao imprints the academic ideology of Youlong Xiao firmly in her mind, and applys flexibly to the clinical practice. Based on Mr. Youlong Xiao’s academic ideology, she combined different ideologies of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.B.College Academic OringinsHer main academic thought derived From the Huangdi’s Internal Classic, the Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, and Li Dongyuan and Zhu Danxi in Jin and Yuan Dynasties, and she highly praises the Jing Yue’s Colleeted Works and the Fu Qing Zhu’s Obstetrics and Gynecology.(1)The giant works like the Huangdi’Internal Classic impacts Professor Xiao on her formation of academic thought and clinical experiences. PROFESSOR XIAO CHENGCONG’S CLINICAL RESEARCHObjective:observe the efficacy of xiaochengcong’s Chinese Medicine in treating kidney-defeciency phlegm stasis type of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Method: group 105 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome patients randomly and divide them into 70 and 35 in the ratio of 2:1.70 cases with kidney deficiency phlegm-stasis,35 cases as the control group. Give the treatment group Professor Shaw’s Chinese Medicine, continue for 3 months,1 dose per day, twice a day, take medicine after mixing it with water. Control group are given Westernmedicine Dyne-35, in natural menstrual bleeding or retreat the 5th day,1 tablet daily, 21 days for a cycle. Repeat from the 5th day when stop taking the medicine and wait for the retreating bleeding, as a total of 3 courses. Compare clinical efficacy.Result:the total efficacy of the treatment group is better than the control group, P<0.05 by statistical analysis of significant differences. Conclusion: Professor XiaoChengcong’s Chinese Medicine in treating kidney-deficiency phlegm stasis is of great efficacy, better than the control group, and the side-effects are low.
