Quick development of urbanization makes the population of mountain city increasingquickly.The complex terrain conditions and fragile ecological environment limit the urbantraffic and land-use arrangement in mountain citites greatly. Using the idea of ecology tocoordinate the development of traffic, terrain and land-use is the key point to solve thesustainable development of mountain city urbanization. This paper bases on the actualdemand of mountain city new area, studies the coordinated development theory and methodsof traffic, land-use and terrain of mountain city new area to provide a type of developmentdirection andtheoretical basis for the development of mountain city urbanization.ccAt first, the paper looks at the travel problems in mountain city urbanizationdevelopment and the problems from cutting mountain to create city in recent years to putforward the study background and meaning of paper. Through analyzing and summarizing thestudy course, achievement and future direction about home and abroad mountain city terrain,traffic and land-use plan for breach, the ideas, framework, main contents and methods ofstudy are proposed.Secondly, the paper studies on the development process of terrain utilization, traffic andland-use arrangement. Through the study on the mountain city growth mechanism, the paperfinds the corresponding mechanism of mountain city traffic, land-use arrangement and naturalterrain. The paper concludes the features of terrain utilization, traffic arrangement,travellingand land utilization of mountain city.Thirdly, aim at the indicators, such as the difficult traffic connection, natural disaster andso on in mountain city, the paper conducts the traffic vulnerability analysis to mountain city.The paper uses the multi-factors model and the Weighted stacking technology of GIS toanalyze the tender spots of road, and uses the multi-constrained connected model to analyzethe vulernabilityof the whole traffic network. The combination of the two methods proposesthe method to reduce the vulernability of traffic network and improve the anti-disaster ability.Forth,the paper studies the traffic arrangement models of different terrain reconstructionforms and proposes the traffic and terrain coordination method of ecologic first, safe traffic, moderate reconstruction and environmentreconstruction. The method means to coordinate theterrain reconstruction and traffic model targeting the safe traffic with lower disturbancestrength on terrain, and provides the base to construct new urban ecology balance. At last, thepaper conducts the terrain design and traffic coordination with contour method and simulationmodel.Fifth, aim at the top-level design goals of ecologic city, the paper conducts the study tothe coordination method of traffic in mountain area and land utilization, and constructs themeta fractal dimension accessibility model of mountain area. The model includes spatial scalefactors of different travelling methods, coordinates land-use and traffic under special spatialscale, and realizes the land-use mixed development and job-housing balance within certainrange. Through the study on the traffic travelling model under the ecologic city target, thetravelling distances of various travelling models with low carbon traffic leading is gained todetermine the spatial scale with ecologic city leading. In model solving, the paper utilizes thepowerful spatial and data analysis function of GIS to correspond the model solving andgraphic expression, and conducts quantitative analysis to planning to provide the basis foradjustment.At last, aim at the ecologic vulnerability of mountain city, the paper proposes thecomprehensive evaluation method of coordination of traffic, land utilization and terrain,which bases on the combination of GIS and analytic hierarchy process, uses the method withcombination of quantitative analysis and graphic expression to construct the evaluationindicator system based on ecology, and conducts the comprehensive evaluation to planningscheme.
