A Study On Administrative Subject Perspective Of Shenyang Early-Modern City Planning Development

Shenyang has an extremely important position and particularity in the city of China. The development is more closely with political administration. Before early-modern, it went through Hull City of Western Han Dynasty, Military Acropolis of Ming Dynasty, gradually developed into the capital of Qing Dynasty, and became the political and economic center of Liaodong; After the Opium War of1840, in the process from traditional to early-modern city, the city experienced the administrative evolutions which include late Qing Dynasty, the colonial domination of Russia and Japan, Northern Warlords, Fengtian clique, Manchuria, the democratic coalition government and National government, and become the industrial and commercial center city in Northeast China; Now, Shenyang has become one of six National Regional Central City, the important city of Northeast Asian.The study belongs to the basic study of the history of Chinese early-modern city planning, and is an individual case of city planning history in the research framework of Chinese early-modern city planning history. Due to frequent regime change of Shenyang early-modern, the government and city planning and construction of the actual situation is different. The study takes the analysis of development of city planning in the scope of political administration, using the methods of literature reading, field investigation, comparative analysis and other methods, combined with political reform and social development of Shenyang early-mode4n, the development of early-mode4n city planning is divided into6parts, summarizes the features of planning and development, establishes the historical status as the special case of Chinese early-modern city planning, to enrich the research contents and types, and provide new ideas and methods for the future development of city planning.The thesis consists of8chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, which presents the background, purpose and significance of the paper, the research method, literature retrieval and innovation; the second chapter analyzes the planning and construction before Shenyang early-modern; the third chapter analyzes the deep factors of formation and development of the early-modern city from Shenyang’s political, economic, cultural and transportation, based on the administrative subject view, briefly elaborates the stage and content of Shenyang early-modern city planning; from the fourth chapter to the seventh chapter are the main content of this paper, respectively presents late Qing Dynasty of Shenyang early-modern city planning (1903-1911), Northern Warlords Fengtian clique(1912-1931), Manchuria government(1932-1945), SMRC dependency(1905-1937), from political administration and colonial rule stages and features, the development and content of city planning and comparison of various important city in the same period, by comprehensive research, analyze the uniqueness of Shenyang in early-modern Chinese city planning from the administrative subject, theory, idea, technology and other aspects; the eighth chapter summarizes the development of Shenyang early-modern city Planning and discusses the future research direction.
