In the process of the development of the China’s cultivation, the tea is the most important things that influence the lives and behaviors of the world by its cultural route. As the main necessity for the herdsman, Tea is the top of the beverages in the world. Especially in the area of the high latitude, where are no vegetables being grown, tea provides the necessary vitamin for people. However, they have to gain the tea from China, because tea plant couldn’t grow in the bad climate of the area. So the Tea Road came into being with the increase of the tea trade and tea transportation.The china’s Tea Road came from the Ancient tea route in China, last from Han dynasty to1930s for almost two thousand years. It influenced almost the whole world. The Ancient tea route came into being in the period of cold weapon. The Han dynasty is lack of horses, which was very important for the war. So the exchange between the tea and horse became a commercial activity gradually. The Ancient tea route was more than a kind of exchange of the tea and the horse, and it’s also a kind of special local product trade. The real Tea Road is from Hubei province in China to the St.Petersburg in Russian, in the period of280years from the1650s to1930s. The Tea Road research is the main point of the paper.The paper researches the Tea Road on the layout of the route and the form, development and decline of the towns and villages along the route.
