Xiarihamu ore deposit was located in the southern margin of the Chaidamu basin,the region of Dazaohuo, the western of East Kunlun Metallogenic Belt which was one of the 19 important Mineralization Belts. Xiarihamu Nickel-Copper ore was discovered in 2011, which was the first discovered magmatic Nickel-Copper sulfide ore deposit in East Kunlun area of Qinghai.This paper selected the research area based on the location of Buluntai-Dazaohuo and Xiarihamu typical ore depoit.Combined the classical metallogenic theory,it analyzed the temporal and apatial distribution of mineral resources,the regional metallogenic characteristics of nickel ore and the characteristics of Xiarihamu ore deposit.Then,it summarized the ore deposite metallogenic series and built the regional nickel ore prospecting model.Based on the above,this paper analyzed the region ore controlling factors(mineralized geologic characteristics) and extracted the useful information.Based on the data of geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing,this paper analyzed the ore factors(mineralization characteristics) and extracted the useful information.Finally,it built the regional multiple comprehensive information predicting model based on the Ore Prospecting Model and the extracted the ore-forming favorable conditions of geological, geophysical, geochemical, remote sensing,which is used for the delineation of the prospective areas.Through this research,it should be useful for guiding the mineral exploration. This study the main achievements and innovations are as follows:(1) Guided by the Geological Metallogenic Theory and Constructed the Ore Prospecting ModelGuided by the geological metallogenic theory, this paper analyzed the regional tectonic background and its evolution characteristics,the typical deposit’s metallogenic features. Then, it summarized the ore deposite metallogenic series.Based on the above,the paper built the regional nickel ore prospecting model, which was used for analysis of regional metallogenic characteristics of the data basing on the physical, chemical, remote sensing and the extraction of the ore-forming information.(2) Separation of Geochemical Anomalies Based on the BackgroundGeochemical anomalies were mainly refered to the abnormal performance of chemical elements in natural substances, which was the most direct ore-prospecting criteria. For different background field, geochemical anomaly should be different. Through the regional tectonic background,this paper divided the regional geochemical background to two parts, and then,it analyzed the geochemical anomalies on the different geochemical background.Through this method,it could indicate the geochemical anomalies of different background field more effectively and objectively.(3) Assessment of the Regional Nickel Quantitative PredictionBased on the Ore Prospecting Model and the extracted the ore-forming favorable conditions of geological, geophysical, geochemical, remote sensing, this paper built the regional multiple comprehensive information predicting model. Then, it predicted the nickel resources in Xiarihamu under the guidance of the model using the method of comprehensive superposition of metallogenic information, which delineated the favorable prospecting areas in Xiarihamu. The prospecting prospect areas had 11,and the class A had 1,the class C had 10.
