Xiarihamu in qinghaiis located in the northern Tibetan Plateau in southwestern margin of Qaidam Basin,East Kunlun Mountains and the mountains between an Eastern offshoot Kunlun Mountains-Qimantage mountain area.The administrative division under the Qinghai provincial Golmud City jurisdiction.The zone involves 1 to 250000 standard division range map for his picture of Hebron station(J46 C004002)and big Zhaohuo(J46 C 004003).Work area is the middle latitude and high elevation mountainous area,belong to typical plateau continental climate,Scarcity of rainfall.Vegetation of zone don't growth,Soil and vegetation types arc alpine and desert soil,alpine meadow soil and sand and sandy soil.Sparsely populated,traffic inconvenience,only a few nomadic life in the work area.Predecessors had done a lot of basic geological survey and mineral geology exploration and theoretical research of scientific research in the study area and provided a rich geology,mineral,geophysical data obtained to the workspace,playing a promoted and guiding role to understand the metallogenic characteristics and prospecting work.But due to the research level is still low at present,it is necessary to use remote sensing for information extraction and do metallogenic prediction research.Through comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of geology and mineral resources of study area,determining nickel mines as the main minerals.Based on the spectral characteristics of ores to chose appropriate remote sensing dataand delineation of nickel-related mafic ultramafic rockand interpreting wire loop structure information.This study combines remote sensing inter:pretation and detailed content analysis and systematic summary of previous research results based on the full use of the current theory of new mineralization and metallogenic prediction theory and mineral resources exploration and evaluation of the theory and methods of technology to organized and organized the research information and data.Combined with GIS technology to analyze and summarize the metallogenic regularity of copper-nickel deposits in this area.Analysising stratigraphic,construction information,rock information,remote sensing information,geophysical information to extract favorable conditions for mineralization.Then summarized the prospecting area prediction model about diverse information.Under the guidance of this model,using an integrated information superposition of mineralization to resource predict for Xiarihamu areas of copper-nickel ore.Delineation of the prospect area and evaluation the predicted results.Believe in the research results will further improve the geological study in degree,promote the new resources evaluation and geological prospecting climax,for national and the local economic development and social progress to make the new contribution.
