Mathematics the abstract study of topics encompassing quantity, structure, spacechange and other properties, is one of the must have item in everyday life of people. That’swhy it is important to study how mathematics run through history. Historical studies ofmathematics affairs should demonstrate smooth knowledge in stages of Mongolian history.Before the Mongolian People’s Revolution period generation had educated throughindoor schools, where they had learned mathematics, as well numerological astrology. As theresult of people’s revolution in1921,Mongolian cultural and educational development issuesbecame the state policy and started the new era develop education, while the first primaryschool founded by the people’s republic government. In Mongolia, education has beenexpanded since the people’s revolution of1921and formed education system withconsequent stages, including preschool, primary, secondary and high school, vocationalschool, collages, institutions and universities or undergraduate and graduate school system.During the last more than9decades Mongolian education affairs in Mongolia education hashad a great success.This research paper was focused on mathematics education affairs in Mongolia duringthe period of1921-1990years and based on resource materials kept in archives, brochures oforiginal text, state goverments acts, resolution, reports written in both Mongolian traditionalscript and Cyrillic, speech or reports made by historians, annalists, scientists, teachers,professors and reseachers, as well as interviews with people hold by me the author.There is the survey in which mathematics education system of our Nation followed byperiods of Mongolian history given below.1. Notice on ancient Mongolian history of mathematics. Here is the Prescriptionof ancient Mongolian mathematics science, also astronomy launching, developing processand heritage, as well as Mongolian puzzle, astrology, ascendant and mathematical knowledgeof Mongolians.2. Notice on mathematics education development in Mongolia. Here is theprescription of mathematics education expanding in Mongolia during the20th century;teaching of mathematics in secondary schools, experiences of math science, as well as,mathematics Olympic activity in Mongolia and its participating in the international mathOlympics. 3. Mongolian secondary school mathematics lesson plans, their changes, reformreasons, expanding features, attrubutes, including their drawbasic.4. School book for mathematics in Mongolia. Also my survey on school-booksfor mathematics used in Mongolia; about books which were translated from Russian mostly,but rarely from other foreign languages; alternatives to use books written by Mongolianscientists, authors.In conclution, what is about the newness of this survey?1. This is the first methodical survey on Mongolian history of mathematicseducation expand, while others have not issued any research work on math educationdevelopment completely2. I have studied methodically how the Mongolian mathematics education waseffected and influenced by foriegners. In the past70years Mongolian educational reformswere modeled on Russian educational system, so greatly expanded to use school programs,lesson plans, text books and also was effected to use their teaching methodology. That wasone of the must have item of the survey and others haven’t studied completely such problemsyet in Mongolia.3. That is the induction on how were mathematics Olympics organized inMongolia, how often do Mongolian students participate in international mathematicsOlympics and achieve a success.
