Chinese printing industry's whole developing situation is good and industry scale and producing ability are becoming larger, and producing scope is increasing on and on. Chinese printing technology is up to international level rapidly, and some predominant printing corporations with big scale and mighty competence turn up. Based on them, the paper aims to offer some theoretical and decisive support for Chinese printing corporations to cultivate and improve core competence to make big and strong Chinese printing industry, and promotes China to become global printing base.First, the paper puts forward some printing industry's development references of China and aboard and present developing situation of global printing industry. To offer decisive references of printing corporations cultivating core competence, the paper researches developing situation of global printing industry and summarizes developing conditions of printing industry of USA, Japan and European countries, and analyzes the characters and problems of Chinese printing industry, and mostly researches management demands of our country's printing corporations.The paper constructs a centaur shape management system to cultivate printing corporations' core competence. Based on defining connotation and characters of Chinese printing corporations' core competence and analyzing its substantive elements including technology, fund and management, conclusion that underlying source of core competence is management ability is drawn by decomposing technology and fund ability into management ability. And Chinese printing corporations' core competence management system is established with aim management competence subsystem, knowledge management competence subsystem, value chain management subsystem and strategy alliance management competence subsystem, and coupling relationship between management system and printing corporations'core competence is analyzed. The paper analyzes self-organization operation mechanism of printing corporations'core competence management system. Printing corporations'core competence management system's dissipative structure characters including opening, smoothing weight of outputs, eschewing equilibrium, nonlinear impacting, up creeping and falling, and instability, are analyzed. Subsystems' competition and teamwork of printing corporations' core competence management system is researched and fast variables and slow variables are identified, and conclusion is drawn that culture is principal variable by derivation of impulse relation, and fractal peculiarity by cooperation on circumstance of dissipative structure.The paper analyzes self-organization development mechanism of printing corporations'core competence management system. Hyper cycle development pattern of management system is put forward based on analysis of feedback cycle and catalyst cycle of printing corporations'core competence management system, and its imitate-species evolutionary mechanism is researched based on hyper cycle. Collision mutation pattern and offset mutation pattern of management system is researched and its potential is defined, and absorbing and stability are analyzed by probing of potential function. Finally, chaos is expounded as ultimate result of management system development.The paper verifies interior relation of printing corporations' core competence management system. In terms of design principle of core competence index system and based on overview of structure equation model and its advantages, index system of interior relation verification model of printing corporations'core competence management system is established from four dimensions including aim management competence, knowledge management competence, value chain management and strategy alliance management competence, and first-order factor model and second-order model are devised respectively to verify interior relation of four management competence elements and their influence impact to core competence, and finally, structure equation model is empirical research by several typical specimen printing corporations.Chinese printing corporations' core competence is evaluated from management agent. Appraisal index system of Chinese printing corporations' core competence is constructed and index rates are set by expounding of appraisal goal and function based on overview of projection pursuit methodology. Chinese printing corporations' core competence is evaluated by projection pursuit appraisal model based on previous dealing of primitive datum of thirty printing corporations' core competence index, and Chinese printing corporations'core competence situation is analyzed from whole results and division results to discover inferiority of cultivation of Chinese printing corporations' core competence.The paper puts forward some suggestions to perfect Chinese printing corporations' core competence management system. Suggestions of strengthening printing corporation core competence management system is put forward from angle of promoting aim management competence, knowledge management competence, value chain management and strategy alliance management competence.
