The Evaluation Of Tourism Resources And The Research On The Sustainable Development Of Canus

Each times have its own values, which not only control people's objective in economic activities, but also affect its economic theory and developing strategy. Over years, the values are commodity values that have formed in pursuit of material increasing indefinitely. In such commodity economic society, the being of any material can become value accepted by the society, only when it turned into commodity. While environmental resources are often regarded as valueless because they can't be changed into commodity. These one-sidedly values inevitably result in the pollution of environment, the worse ecology and resources shortage.We must change traditional values and non-value theory of environmental resources, if we want to resolve the problems about environmental resources fundamentally. We not only make clear that environmental resources are valuable from our sense, but also set a concrete value on environmental resources. Thus, we can bring the resources into the economic program so that we can settle the problems about environmental resources effectively and realize continuous development of our economic society.Canus Scene, as natural tourism resources, is one of the environmental resources. It is a wonder of nature. It attracts more and more tourists from all parts of the world and develops well its tourism resources with its rich resources, wonderful natural landscape and changeable and marvelous lake. Therefore, the environmental resources problems there become worse and more serious. The damaged ecology and polluted environment have threatened the sustainable development of this paradise on earth. And it tolerates no neglect to its tourism resources.For the above-mentioned reasons, this paper forms a systematic frame of tourism resources evaluation. They are evaluation of landscape quality, service conditions and the value of tourism resources. In this frame, I use synthetically evaluation method to assess the landscape quality and service conditions of its tourism resources and use travel cost method (TCM) to estimate its recreation value, and get the following results: it has a very high landscape quality 5A; it has perfect equipment and gets 5 stars; the tourists'consumer surplus is RMB 581.7175 million Yuan. In 2006, its recreation value of tourism resources is RMB 1447.6 million Yuan, far more than its tourism income, RMB 560,000,000yuan. These all show that Canus Scene has a great potentiality in tourism resources. Meanwhile, this paper also analyses the factors that affect the tourists'willingness to pay, and its present situation and existing problems. The following conclusions are drawn based on above:(1)Canus tourism resources are human being's treasure and its development must be built on the protection of tourism resources. We should change its potential value into real value by tapping the value of the tourism resources.(2)To change the current extensive and simple tour methods by raising the tickets, increasing the touring programs, limiting the number of visitors and lengthening the touring periods. We should improve the visitors'touring experiences and fully get tourists consumer surplus, so as to realize the value of the tourism resources.(3)To increase the combination of more touring destinations, reduce the travel cost and raise the consumer surplus by developing other interesting places and cooperating with them. (4)To improve tourism service conditions and quality in order to raise the tourists'satisfaction and consumer surplus. According to the positive relation between the numbers of tourists, income of per person and the educated degree, Canus Scene should be ranked as high level market, which is in fact just supported by building and air service of Canus Airport.(5)To give a lot of publicity to make Canus well known all over the world. We can make use of the superior region to open up the markets abroad.In the light of the problems lying in developing canus tourism resources, this paper comes up with some relevant measures and suggestions: To increase the awareness of resources protection and to develop the sense of continuous growth. To plan scientifically and develop moderately. To carry out the capitalized managing on resources and strengthen the management.Now there are very few pieces of research on Canus tourism resources, most of which are only descriptions or qualitative study. And this paper combines the qualitative study and quantitative study to get a overall and objective evaluation from the three parts:the landscape quality, service conditions and recreation value of Canus tourism resources. The results will have a positive influence on the tourism resources protection and the sustainable development. And the other relevant tourism resources research can also make use of the above methods and conclusions.
