Ever since the beginning of the late 1980s, a great many changes have been brought about due to such factors as scientific and technological innovation, globalization and totally new processing technology of information and fast enhancement of intangible resources of knowledge. These changes, subsequently, change the origin of the competing superiority, the mechanism of creation and protection, as well as its continuity. The enterprises are confronted with a more dynamic environment than ever before. This is an environment where advantages develop quickly but disappear quickly. In the dynamic competition, any enterprise that wants to be successful must think about their competitiveness and practices, and creates a series of temporary advantages. From a temporary advantage to another temporary one, the enterprise sets moving objects to their counterparts one by one. This way ensures that the general advantages of the enterprise develop continuously, and from new strategic models of thinking. Thus, under the condition of dynamic competition, the investigation on the competitive activities among the enterprises finally lies in the performance of these enterprises. The actual performance of an enterprise becomes the most fundamental variable used in investigation.Nowadays, the research of dynamic competitive strategies for an enterprise are mainly confined to the countries with highly developed economic markets, such as America and Europe, and so on. Few sholars have investigated the dynamic competitive strategies in the countries with newly-booming markets. However, besides the common factors that affect the changes of environment, the enterprises in our country encounter more dynamic competition than the ones in other countries due to the reforms of economic system and excess competition within one industry. Furthermore, the success that China has achieved since reform and opening policy fully demonstrates that China is a typically transitional economic society. Therefore, how to undersand the competitive behaviors of Chinese enterprises undoubtedly possesses the very significance of theory and application. With the main appliance business enterprises in China as research objects this thesis studies the competition activities and rules of a business enterprises under competitive condition of our country, mainly analyzes and solves the four aspects of problems in the following discussion.Put forward and examine the basic characteristics of competitive actions combining the substantial evidences. Based on the collection, sorting and analysis of 1100 competitive actions data in 26 main appliance business enterprises in China during the year 2001 to 2006, it is discovered and confirmed that business enterprise competitive actions bear the basic characteristics of observability, interaction, the dynamic state study and path dependence. The enterprises can identity the nature of the competitive activities more clearly through general understanding of those characteristics, which provides foundation and premise for further analysis and control of the rules of competitive actions.Build and validate the structure model of competitive actions concept. Through the analysis and research of the connotation and properties of competitive actions, a two-dimensional model of competitive activities is built and validated with four variables, namely, the number of actions, the speed of actions, the difference between actions and actiion diversity. The four variables can be merged into two dimensions: intensity and extent of actions. The number and speed of action intensity compose the action intensity. And differences and diversities constitute the action extent. The construction of competition model of the concept of operation is a basic research on dynamic competitive theory and building dynamic competitive strategies which makes a point and quantitative research metric for research on competitive actions. To analyze and confirm the influences and the functional mechanism which driven variables have on the competition motion in the organization as well as the relations between competition motion and the enterprise achievements. Through the analysis of the important factors which the inner organization causes on the competitive actions, the intrinsic structure and the essence of the competitive actions organizational driven variables have been explored and confirmed. The following six primary factors which the interior organization has exerted on the enterprise competitive actions, the exterior guidance, the structural complexity, the market dependence, the former achievement, the unused resources and the abilities of research and development, are classified into three dimensions: action consciousness, action motivation and performance ability. Based on the above, it also studies the intrinsic mechanism which it has on the competitive actions. Finally, to some extent, the predictions of the competitive actions can be achieved.Through the relationship between competition and the enterprise achievements, it is found that only the intension of the activities has notable influences on the corporations' financial achievements. That is to say, the quantity and speed of the competition can impose a marked positive effect on the capital income's net yield as well as the net profits of a corporation. On the contrary, the scope of the actions has little influence on the corp.'s financial achievements, which means that the otherness and variety of the actions can not bring the net yield of the capital income and the net profits for a company. Competitive actions has a significant impact on the performance of business market, which means the amount, speed, discrepancy and diversity of actions has a positive impact on the sales and market share. This conclusion has a definitely valuable and practical significance to explore strategies from the perspective of actions in a dynamic competitive environment. Enterprises can further build dynamic competitive advantages by competitive actions.Established a model for efficiency assessment of the competitive actions. By applying the grey system theory, a model for efficiency assessment of the competitive actions is established, and a research has been made to the electronic companies which have entered the stock market. The result shows that the comprehensive assessment grey system based on the relative grey system, can folly make use of the available data, apply to different index. By applying the group grey relative method, it takes the mutual influence and correlation of the complex system into consideration, and thus over take some of the subjective affecting factors. Besides, the system has revealed the differentiated qualities of the index by combining the objects and their values to make sure of their scores. The applied research confirms that the entire assessment process is simple, and the assessment results are obvious and close to reality. There are no assessment results inconsistent with the qualitative analysis. Therefore, the assessment process is a feasible, workable and practical. The usage of the assessment process will dynamically help the enterprises in the competitive environment, to access and use the information available to evaluate their own and competitors' competitive activity efficiency and the extent of the change efficiency, meanwhile to make it clear where his competitors are located. with mutual understanding and action well-supported, the enterprises can master the rhythm of competition better and use the limited resources within the organization to take the initiative in competitions.
