The thesis stands the viewpoint of the industry developing, analyses the problems in the development of air transportation, brings forward the judgment that one of the important approach for civil aviation to satisfy the demand of economy and society is to improve the fashion of transportation production, enhance the transportation efficiency, and construct the convenient aviation. It's the first time that brings forward the"convenient engineering"in the civil aviation field in the world.To actualize"convenient engineering"is to make the system run more fast, efficient and successfully by using the idea and method of system engineering, analyzing and researching the problems in the taches of the existing transportation and service system, adjusting and improving the correlation aiming at passengers'fast and comfortable. So as to satisfy passengers'demands of"fast"and"convenient", enhance the competence and economy rising potential, adapt to constructing the well-off society in an all round way, achieve the goal that changing the big country of civil aviation to the great country of civil aviation.This paper focus on improving the convenience of air transportation, bases on the theory of system engineering, analyses the air passengers'demand and the structure and the environment of air transportation systemically, concludes the main problem of air passengers'transportation, brings forward the basic target, the primary content and the basic idea of"convenient engineering", and forms the study framework of"convenient engineering".Leading by the study framework of"convenient engineering", the thesis uses the queuing theory, the linear programming and so on plenarily, researches the important processes of passengers in the terminal deeply and detailedly. Firstly, in the check-in process, advances the optimization method of changing the queuing quomodo, controlling the quantity of open check-in counters and admeasuring the check-in counters scientifically, and founds a model of distributing check-in counters between the passengers with and without baggage; Secondly, in the process of security check, advances the optimization method of changing the queuing quomodo and controlling the quantity of open passageway, and presents the multilevel security check model; Thirdly, for the linking of the process of check-in and security check, establishes the optimization model based on the equal service rate; Fourthly, aiming at the optimization problem of passengers'flow and baggage's flow when the flight puts in the airport, found the model of distributing baggage. Furthermore, Aiming at a series of problem of gate assignment, on the principle of"the shortest walking distance of passengers", puts forward a network model of optimizing the gate assignment, expatiates and studies the optimizing algorithm for the gate assignment of all flights of an airport.The irregular flight is the most important problem of influencing the convenient of air transportation, this paper analyses the character of irregular flight and the reason which causes the irregular flight, suggests the countermeasures of solving the problem using the method of matrix. Contraposing the compensation problem, the thesis analyses the necessity of compensation for flight delay, establishes"the method of replaceable transportation equivalent compensation for air passengers", which can be consulted to solve the compensation problem.
