A Research On The Problem Of Economic Growth Evaluation Based On Recycling Economy

The problem of economic growth has always been cared by the world and it is an eternal subject in human history. China has experienced fast economic growth since it carried out reform and opening up policy. However, the way of traditional economic growth has made the conflict between economic growth and resource & environment more and more severe in China. How to tackle the promlem to make economy, ecology and society develop together more coordinately is a very important problem. By reviewing the achievements scholars in-home and abroad have made in relevant fields, the dissertation makes a detailed and systematic research on the problem of economic growth evaluation based on recycling economy.Firstly, the article explains the relationship among natural capital, economic growth and recycling economy, recognizing that natural capital is inevitable to economic growth. Then, it tells us what economic growth has done on environment and the economic origin of environment problem. While at the same time, the article tells the basic concept of recycling economy and its connotation.Secondly, the model of Eco-environment Index is set up to calculate China's eco-environment pressure, finding that China is facing more and more severe eco-environment pressure.Thirdly, based on the EKC model, the article estimates the relationship between the main pollution and per-capita GDP in China. It is obviously found that the environment pressure and economic growth do not show us the shape of upside U in China. So, if the way of traditional economic growth is still adopted, the environment in China will not be able to support the economic growth in near future. Change the way of economic growth and choose recycling economy as the new way is inevitable to China's sustainable development.Fourthly, the article analyzes why China should choose recycling economy as its new economic growth way, and based on what China has made in constructing the recycling economy, the article finds it is possible to construct recycling economy in China. While at the same time, with the experiences the developed countries have made, and considering China's real condition, the article provides some strategy and proposal.Lastly, an evaluation model of recycling economy based on gray incidence is set up, and Guangdong province is chosen as the subject to study district recycling economy construction. According to the model, the article appraises how recycling economy is developed in 21 cities in Guangdong and foretells the developing tendency of recycling economy in Guangdong province from 1995 to 2020.
