Nowadays China is stepping into a new era which is full of opportunities and challenges: The entry to WTO is bringing China into a global market, globalization and marketization make productivity factors flow more faster than before and the industrial value-chain has been redistributed; Knowledge renewal and technology reform are growing beyond human's belief; Consumer demand is increasing and changing rapidly……All these make Chinese corporations face the tremendous challenges after had experienced severe pain from social and economical transformation.Based on the study of a large amount of literatures about competitive advantage theory in strategy management and economics fields, this dissertation puts up a further discussion to the essence of strategy management, poses the suggestion that the essence of corporate strategy is to create differentiation and this kind of differentiation can be searched out form both strategy management process and strategy management content. In view of process,differentiation consists of endogenous competitive advantage and dynamic competitive advantage. If comparing these two, we can also find that dynamic competitive advantage is crucial. It may come from either one or more of three levels of corporate strategy system: strategic prediction, strategy design and strategy implement. For corporations, finding out market value in every operating levels, creating new business mode and responding quickly to the changes would be the effective way to keep sustainable dynamic competitive advantage. In view of content, endogenous competitive advantage comes from knowledge management, knowledge innovation, organization energy which is helpful to innovation and efficiency of management innovation practices. Through a comprehensive study of several schools, the author tries to build up a dynamic system model, points out that competitive advantage roots in the competitive advantage of strategic resource reserve, potential energy by combining the value chain of the network based on the favorable strategy ecological value-chain node, the constant adjustment according to the requirement of environment changing and even prearranged dynamic advantage and innovative advantage based on strategy implement.Afterward, based on the dynamic system model of competitive advantage theory, the author brings forward a deep discussion to the three major links of the...
