With the global pace of development, innovation has progressively become a crucial factor for an enterprise to establish its core competitiveness. Moreover, the innovation ability of the enterprise is generated from the construction of owned intellectual system and the method of knowledge management. The intellectual level and the developing progress of knowledge determine the continuity and height of innovation. In China, existing innovations appear to be pure imitations in technology and graft on knowledge. Based on plagiarism only, enterprises would not establish a owned-intellectual core competitiveness. Therefore, it is essential to resolve the problem of lacking motive power to achieve development. Previous researches on innovation are always on a perspective of organizational behavior methodology, such as the format of innovation, design of organization and motivating methods, etc. However, in this study, the author places emphasis on the law of knowledge development with a knowledge pattern as the core matter to explore knowledge innovation format, research into the mechanism of knowledge evolution and quest for the mechanism of knowledge development .According to the precious researches, the study takes methods of literature research, qualitative analysis and analysis of cases to explore the ways and mechanism of establishing knowledge innovation in the course of knowledge evolution, and then reaches certain achievements.First of all, on the basis of"melt knowledge-ferment", the author utilizes the Evolution and Development Theory in economic management field as a source of reference and introduces Biological Evolutionism to form a basic framework of knowledge development. With researches of these theories, the author analyses biological attribute of knowledge, identifies the term "knowledge evolution", analyses similarities and differences between knowledge variation and knowledge innovation. With reference to existing studies, the author provides three phases in knowledge evolution, the methods of knowledge creation and growth in the course of evolutionary stages, and environmental factors' effects on the evolution, and finally, provides the roles every attributive factor.Furthermore, starting from traits of biological evolution, the author analyses manners and traits of knowledge evolution, four phases that knowledge system reaches a innovation degree and the similarities and differences during different evolutionary phases. Besides, the author generalizes and summarizes attributive conditions and resources of variation. Given the gradual traits of knowledge evolution, the primary objective of this study is working on the gradual innovative processing in the evolution, and to analyses the conditions and effective factors of gradual innovation. In addition, based on the"melt knowledge-ferment", a brand new resemblance biological model of knowledge evolution is constructed by introducing Knowledge Gene Theory. The author analyzes the principal functions and operational mechanisms of each part of the model by using the knowledge curing progress primarily. With the analysis of cases of Toyota, every theoretical definition is verified, and Toyota's evolution progress in knowledge technique and culture is analyzed. Finally, combined with existing studies results, the method of Grounded Theory in qualitative study is applied in this study. Through the analysis of interview materials in 20 enterprises, the author applies selective coding in Grounded Theory and sets up the model of internal knowledge evolution for enterprises, which provides verification and supplement to the former theoretical study.
