Study On The Chinese Science And Technology Award System

STAS is one part of the social system. It is also one of the study objects of the sociology of science. STAS is perfect or not, determines the level of technological capability of independent innovation. It is also of great significance for the science and technology development of a country. Since the founding of New China, the Chinese STAS continues to improve and bocome perfect. And its structure becomes more and more reasonable and complete. In recent years, the Chinese STAS has entered a sientific, standardized, legal stage. The four chapters of this article is closely based on the theme of the Chinese STAS, and try to make it more improved and perfect.Chapter One generally demostrates the content, subject, object and essence of STAS. Then, this chapter describes the relationship between the course of science and technology institutionalization and STAS. On this basis, this chapter analyzes the beyond of modern institutionalizational STAS to the ancient non-institutionalizational STAS.Chapter Two introduces the development history of the New Chinese STAS, and clarifies the characteristics of national STAS, provincial STAS, social STAS. At last, this chapter analyzes the role and significance of the modern Chinese STAS.Using the system point of view, Chapter Three analyzes the elements of the Chinese STAS system and explores the specification the Chinese STAS system must comply with under "big science" background at first. Then, this chapter strives to analyze the psychological and sociological mechanism of the Chinese STAS system. On this basis, this chapter tries hard to investigate the actual operation of the Chinese STAS system from the combining angle of macro-perspective and microcosmic-perspective. At last, this chapter analyzes the three-dimensional structure of the Chinese STAS system which is the time dimension, the logical dimension and the knowledge dimension.Chapter Four introduces the STAS of the United States, Germany, France, Japan, India and analyzes their characteristics. Then, this chapter compares the Chinese STAS with theirs, and acquires the experience and inspiration of foreign STAS. On this basis, this chapter analyzes the inadequate of the Chinese STAS from the aspects of structure and operation, and proposes some strategies and recommendations to make it perfect.STAS——science and technology award system...
