The war fighting of 21st-century is the information warfare, the contest of information domination, to make sure information superiority are the key of realizing operation space and other joint operation capacity. United States keeps ahead on Network Centric Warfare (NCW) research, and the mechanism of Net-Centric gives the army of United States powerful motivity. To improve the ability of winning the future information warfare, we must develop and utilize information resource, accumulate the amount of information resource, inspire the requirement of information resource, and then improve on and the perfect the means of information utility. NCW is just one of the means to realize this intention.Grid technology plays important and particular roles in NCW application, arousing the attention of many countries. In order to improve command and control speed and combat efficiency, grid is necessary.In this dissertation, the theory of NCW and related grid technology are involved, emphasizing on the architecture of NCW, analyzing and resolving of QoS issues of grid service composition.In NCW aspect, under the background of NCW requirement, the paper research the NCW architecture in terms of synthetic integration concept, grid computing environments, and OGSA architecture.a) Firstly, after introducing the theory and the notion of NCW, analysing the difficult problem of NCW faced, we summarize the NCW experience of the United States and its reference to us.b) Secondly, to meet the requirements of new military reformation, the architecture model of NCW is discussed, by researching on theory and concepts of OGSA standard, System of System and the requirements for grid computing in military area.c) Thirdly, to begin with analyzing the concept and operational value of sensor network, we eliminate the heterogeneous of various resource by using OGSA grid, and illuminate the OGSA based NCW architecture by interface and service designing.In related grid technology aspect, using UDDI registry and grid service negotiation, to resolve service QoS issues in service composition respectively.1. we classify service QoS details from Virtual Organization aspect, and establish a service QoS model, easy to the registry and the find based on XML.2. Under the condition of unchanged UDDI data structure, Overcome the fact of UDDI unable to suppose sequence data type, absenting the object type similarity to Service Data in OGSI, bring forward a grid service QoS registry and the find mechanism based on UDDI.3. After using a set of performatives to define grid service negotiation, describe the negotiation process with the help of colored Petri net, and analysis the reach ability of the model using reachable tree method.
