The Evolution Path

With the development of the news reform since 1978,what kind of transformation has been undertaken to our country's news style,and the disciplinary factors underlying this,furthermore,how does these factors influence and promote the development of the news style? This paper will investigate developing skeleton of news style in the new period and attempt to answer these questions on the basis of diachronically dimensions.This study originates in two routes which are "history-reality" and "theory-practice", and focuses on three major fields of the journalism studies.It puts the news style into three-dimensional research framework,considering the journalistic history,the journalistic theory and the journalistic work.Although it has much to do with history,it not only bases on the news style development,but also tries to jump out the simple business research level.By investigating the current situation and development in fact of the news style from the broader social historical background,this paper seeks out the links among different factors,like news style and social ecological environment,media's competition pattern,accepting psychology of readers,and journalist's own independent news style consciousness,corresponding research of academia and so forth.Further more,it searches for universal discipline in order to explore "what ought to be" from "what is".This paper also borrows relevant knowledge from stylistics,clarifying the logical clue of fundamental characteristic and development of news style.According to the characteristic analysis,reason analyzing and the law pursues,it seeks the basic trend of the development of news style in the new period,and sketches the "knowledge map" of the news writing theory,history and practice for journalism as a whole. In this paper,news style of newspaper is chosen as the research area.Quantitative and qualitative analysis are carried out on the basis of 796 samples won the award-winning works from the 10^th "National Good News Prize"(from 1979 to 1988) and the 17th "Chinese News Prize"(from 1990 to 2006).What's more,representative texts of different history stages are chosen and analyzed in order to describe,explain and evaluate the development of the news style in the new period.This paper also explores the impact of journalist in the course of the news style development in conjunction with research on the group of journalists as well as individual famous journalist.Meanwhile,we also attach great importance to the contribution of the academia of news through re-analyzing and re-evaluating important academic views,academic arguments,and then quest for the influence of the academia on the news style development from the perspective of the history of news style.Overall,this kind of integrated research possesses the characteristic of originality in comparison to the similar research.
