Production scheduling is one of the important parts of CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing System) and CIPS (Computer Integrated Processing Systems), as to be the key technology of the production management. A reasonable kind of scheduling method can bring a lot of economic benefits to the productive enterprises. Along the process of study, it is found that the affection, which is caused by varies uncertainties existing in the realistic world, to the production and scheduling process can not be ignored. The uncertain phenomena make it very difficult to obtain an expected result for the decision maker with the usual certain model, and the classical method which uses off-line computing to get an optimal input and carries out it in open loop usually can not give an optimal result. So it is hard to avoid the on-line adjusting, which makes scheduling a dynamic process with continuous optimization. How to find a reasonable robust and optimal scheduling method in the complicated environment is a difficult problem, and also has important theoretical and practical value. Then the purpose of this research is to study the robust way of production scheduling under uncertainty.Uncertain optimization theory provides theoretical basis and methods to research on production scheduling under uncertainty, but it has some deficiencies in computing and reflecting the decision attitude. The focus of this work is how to find new robust scheduling strategies under uncertainty and how to carry out the strategies. After analyzing and improving some uncertain optimization model, some new robust scheduling strategies are proposed. Then the corresponding scheduling models are established, the algorithms and realistic methods are also given.With the survey of research on the certain and uncertain production scheduling, and the development of uncertain optimization theories and methods, this thesis focuses on the research of robust production scheduling strategies.
