Our group has started to do research work on CSCW since 1990's, andovertaken several projects, including the National High Technology Development Program of China, Nation's "95" tackling program and key technologies tackling programs of the army in resent years. Since 1998 we have launched the research and development on Cooperative Design Environment of Battle Plans. In this thesis, we analyze the technology of CSCW and its application in the area of cooperative design-CSCD (Computer Supported Cooperative Design), the application of MAS (Multi Agent System) in the area of CSCW and CSCD, and the characteristics of the structure of existing CSCW and CSCD system. Based on it, we do a deeper research on several key techniques concerning the design of cooperative design environment of battle plans. The main work we do is as followings:1. We propose a structural model of reactive agent, called C~2D~2 (Control, Communication, Declaration, Description). The reactive agent based on C~2D~2 is called C~2D~2 agent. Itis composed of basic function unit and control unit. Basic function unit refers to the group members, software tools, application components and so on. Control unit refers to the management and control set of module packed out of the basic function unit, which includes four parts: control part, communication part, declaration part and description part. The C~2D~2 MAS is the MAS composed of several C~2D~2 agents. This kindmethod of composition has three advantages. The first is that the components of the standard C~2D~2 control unit are more widely applied, easier to be expanded and combined. And it is simpler to pack the software tools with C~2D~2 structure to the constructional agent; the second is that by utilizing multi-thread techniques of distributed object, system can...
