The dissertation mainly studies the CCP how to transform private books,publishing and distribution from 1949 to 1956. The main body of the dissertation contains five chapters. The first chapter looks back the history train of the CCP's books and publishing from 1921 to 1949. The second chapter dwells on the CCP how to foster the private books and publishing in the principle of giving concurrent consideration to public and private interests after the founding of our People's Republic. The third chapters focus on how to partly rectify the private books and publishing from 1951 to 1953 . This part maily introduces the steps and methods to conform and rectify the private books and publishing, and the private books and publishing's subsisting and developing under a narrow space. The fourth chapter deals with how to rectify and even abolish the private books and publishing by stages and in groups led by the transition period's general line. The fifth chapter expounds how to rectify and transform the private distribution. The epilogue discusses the general understanding of the private books and publishing's transformation, summarizes the concrete content of transformation, analyses the reasons that transformed like this.
