Agility, adaptability and innovation ability to varieties of an enterprise to win in unanticipated competitive environment, is fundamental requirement of all organizations. Information System (abbreviated IS) acts as a subsystem of enterprise system and enterprise's digital nerve network, its agility is an important or key factor to promote forming of organization's core competitive ability. Now, agility of IS, as a significant index, is paid attention to by both software developer and users. Why we research on it also lies in: to improve enterprise's reactivity to varieties and support enterprise for transforming into agile virtual enterprise; to avoid secondary development, reduce its workload or save its time; to protect enterprise's original investment and reduce cost. So the paper, considering the concept of agility of IS as kernel, aiming at its implementation, and taking application project of Dalian International Cooperation (Group) Stock Ltd. as background, making full use of relative theories and methods on IS building, has made some research as the following:Based on compare and analysis among flexibility, agility etc, using agility concept presented at aboard or home for reference, the paper defines agility of IS, discusses on such categorized conceptions as processing agility, communication agility, restructure agility and decision-making agility, at the same time, defines the concept of agile IS (abbreviated AIS) and describes its characteristics. In addition, using metrics of enterprise agility aboard for reference, it studies on indexes and models on agility of IS, which provides software developer a technology self-evaluation method and self-enhancement measure, and can improve software product competitive ability, also benefit software users to identify software development risk.Both software developers and users take care of how to implement AIS. Based on former study on AIS, the paper discusses on several essentials helping to implementation of AIS such as system architecture, software developing methods and models, crucial technologies, information cadre, system integration mechanism etc, among which, component technology and adaptive programming contributing to implementation of AIS are discussed and confirmed. The content here can facilitate implementation of AIS, helping to master work outline and make management idea distinct. It also introduces DUTMIS tool supporting for implementation of AIS, and gives a demonstration how to resolve new requirement of application systems.Flexibility of architecture can bring more agility to IS. Flexible frame of IS, established at the period of general analysis and design, is basis of implementing agility of IS. The paper, combining author's item experience of general analysis and design in some group corporation, analyzes both adopted instructional theory for general analysisand design to implement agility of IS and their union, at the same time, points out the directing ideas, principles, scope, content and concrete working way and questions that should be paid attention to. What we have done here helps to carry though and finish task of enterprise general analysis and design successfully, also can have effect on implementation of AIS.Agility of decision-making relies on flexibility of Decision-making Support System (abbreviated DSS) or tools. The paper, in order to support for alteration of enterprise data analysis requirements, provides a kind of adaptive online analysis processing and data mining model (abbreviated DOLAM), its logic structure, system frame and physical structure are presented, which enhances hominine direction and controlling mechanism, embodying in such aspects as query-driven, fuzzy data mining and dynamic interactive ability etc. The paper offers design and implementation blue print of the core of DOLAM--data warehouse management tool, OLAP tool and SummarySQL tool, now, they are running in Dalian International Cooperation (Group) Stock Ltd and have gained good effect.Considering much fuzzy or uncertainty i...
