There are two important reasons for our Research of Middleware TechnologyBased on XML in ObjectWeb Computing Environment: Firstly, with the rapiddevelopment of information and network technology as well as the wide applicationof Internet, especially the popularty of WWW, results in the information share inglobe, promoted the development of distributed computing technology. Distributedcomputing more and more depended on WWW ObjectWeb is a new progress of theresearch of distributed computing technology Secondly, the Mainframe age made lotsof legacy system, with the rapid development of Internet, required extend theseoperations to open environment, so as to implement the electronic commerce andinformation intercommunication between business to client and business to business.The best way for this purpose is using object technology wrap it. Now ObjectWebcomputing is the core technology of integration legacy system, we can use thedistributed computing middlewar technology of CORBA, DCOM and SOAPconstruct ObjectWeb computing environment(OWCE), implement the integration oflegacy system.Commonly, we construct OWCE based on the distributed computing middlewaretechnology of CORBA-Java or DCOM. But the both two ObjectWeb system cannotadapt the requirement of Internet environment, also have problem of data formatdifference. The appearance of XML and SOAP solved these problems. Utilization thevalidity of Internet to SOAP, we can use SOAP construct OWCE, and utilizationXML to express common network data format, can solved the problem of data formatdifference.Our research project started from 2000, the goal of which is to develop amiddle-ware system named BizCape that can iniegrated with legacy system. Itimplemented the middleware technology of data conversion, data dissemination andweb transaction based on XML. The main works and achievements of the author since2000 cover the following aspects.1. Based on the research of the ObjectWeb computing system, bring forward anew type of OWCE structure, which based on SOAP Then, discussed its servicemodel, described Web service object model, designed the Web service. Partitioned theinterface of OWCE, and given its disadvantage and expression ability2. In order to implement the conversion between XML and legacy data, based onthe research of legacy system, divided its data into two types. Given the definition ofFlat file, designed a set of conversion language based on schema, described theelements of the language. Researched the schema, the arithmetic and the arithmetic'sdata structure, and also discussed the interrelated questions and solved techniques. Forthe convention of relation-data, researched the RXL language and implementedmechanism of the conversion.3. Based on the research of data dissemination model and it requirements, deeplydiscussed the criterion of user profile. Introduced a triple in order to expression profileuser. Also introduced XPath language in order to located and identified the profile title.Given the system structure of the data dissemination system and expatiate d thesystem's design from the aspects of intemal data model and dissemination process.4. Given the model of transaction commit, divided the OLF/TP protocol into twotypes: OLF/TP-UT and OLF/TP-UW Then given the transport mechanism oftransaction process based on HTTP and SMTP. Deeply researched the designtechniques of Web transaction service, and in order to improve the systemperformance, introduced no-communication surveillance technique.5. Described the physics model and logic model of BizCape system, thenexplained the interrelated technique and implement process of the system modules,also explained the functions and implementation classes and interface ofenterprise-level cIient software.The research work of this dissertation was supported by an internationalcorporation project.
