Cyber-Individual, with a short term Cyber-I, is the counterpart of a real individual in cyberspace. With the evolution of advanced digital technologies and urgent needs from developing human beings itself, a new space called cyberspace is being created. The Cyber world built based on this cyberspace is full of variety. Meanwhile, by merging with the original physical world gradually, cyber world and physical world are forming a new world, called Hyperworld in which make common lives of human beings be immersed in various digital explosion, such as information explosion, connection explosion, service explosion and intelligence explosion. In this context, the question now arises as how humans will evolve facing these explosions in the hyper world? In new situation, this thesis proposed that human should "survive" by changing sense from of Darwin's survival of the fittest to survival of the awareness, and to survival of the wisdom eventually. "Awareness" means that a person fully knows the information in the world it resided. "Wisdom" indicates a person also fully understands itself inside. According to these background, this thesis purposed a novel Cyber-â… concept in order to study the individual human essence, the new existence of human individuals in the cyber world, and the extension of individual human's ability.As a research field created on aggregating multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies as well as a variety of technologies for globally joint work on understanding more about human, motivation driven researches of Cyber-â… and related platform and system is constructed. In this thesis, a series development work has been carried out from the shallower to the deeper. The advent of the cyber world brings us the opportunity to create such Cyber-â… in the cyber world for almost everyone. Your cyber individual is supposed to know you more and better, and try it best to support, help, and present you with appropriate behaviors and powerful adaptation to the new environments. The research target is to form a long-team research area which focused on and attract more research and develop fields about human in global scope, and to promote and realize the harmony of humans, computers, and things in the emerging hyper world. As an emerging human related research, brain informatics undoubtedly opened the black box of human brain for parsing the human information process mechanism from inner of human brain. This thesis tied Cyber-â… with Brain informatics researches and proclaimed mutual relationship between them. On one hand, Brain Informatics researches will improve development of Cyber-â… research. On the other hand, Cyber-â… will be an ideal test bed for Brain Informatics to exam the common cognitive models. The interaction of Cyber-â… and Brain Informatics will bring profound revolution in the research of human information processing system. Meanwhile, we start from finding a practical and typical scenario that can exam the availability, reliability, security of Cyber-â… design. Therefore, we introduced a scenario of personal service, by which we demonstrate how Cyber-â… can enhanced personal service through more individual and secure data. Finally, we also explored the future digital ecosystem.Digital individual behavior analysis is an important profile of motivation deduction of Cyber-â… in hyperworld. It is also one of the core function of Cyber-â… framework. This thesis divided Cyber-â… life cycle into three phrases:Birth, Growth, and Death. All phrases can't work without digital behavior process mechanism. We picked birth phrase and designed a practical system based on it. At last, though a security case, we used a Cyber-â… platform and its data cells to build initial model of Cyber-â… corresponding to an intruder. It actually presented general progress of personal computer based Cyber-â… generation, and also examine the state-behavior-mind three levels methodology of Cyber-â… platform.From the theoretical point of view, this thesis has following contribution:(1) A novel concept of Cyber-Individual is proposed. Combining with the characteristics and research targets of Cyber-â… , the range and depth of Cyber-â… research intension is elaborated with close focus on motivation based individual research. On this foundation, we created a general architecture of Cyber-â… system and explained necessary elements related to it. (2)Basic work mechanism with Brain Informatics is proposed. And the future of the new world ecosystem consisted of Web Intelligence, Ubiquitous Intelligence, Brain Informatics, and Cyber-â… is also previewed through a scenario of merging with personal services.(3)Around individual motivation based Cyber-â… research, we extended malware detection in security area to individual behavior modeling in birth phrase of Cyber-â… . In addition, this thesis also aims to contribute from the practical point of view: (1)Under specified needs of individual motivation based Cyber-I research, the fundamental framework has been explored and implemented, which can be a start of global Cyber-â… research and developing. (2)By analysis the synergy between Cyber-â… and Brain Informatics with a scenario of improving typical personal searching service, this thesis promoted Cyber-â… related research with more concrete, workable, participant develop routes and research strategies. (3)The practical process of personal based individual behavior analysis and motivation deduction is represented through a honeypot based living example. Further, the Cyber-â… birth related opening platform is designed and implemented which turned Cyber-â… research from abstract to more concrete application and instance.. Although it aims to Cyber-â… , the proposed theories, technologies, approaches and strategies can be extended to other domains for accelerating the study on harmony and unity of human or individual, computing, and smart devices.
