The transmission and detection schema is the foundation of a UWB system. Many researchers focus on UWB technology for its prospective future. Comtemporarily, the main research effort on UWB system lie in the integration of computational intelligence optimization algorithm, optimization of transmittion pulse design and implementation of multiple transmitter multiple receiver. The optimal design of multi-user detection methods.The research is based on the above four aspects and make reference to domestic and abroad literature. The first section is the integration of computational intelligence based optimization algorithm. Meantime, an effective strategy is proposed for optimized design of primary transceiver technology. The main work in this thesis is summarized as follows:1 .Integration of computational intelligence based optimization algorithmOn the theoretical analysis and experimental basis, the PSO and SVM algorithm is deployed in a way that the two methods are formed into a complementary and comprehensive integration with collaborative applications. Thus a good solution emerges to deal with the drawbacks within existent UWB optimization algorithms.2. Optimal design and implementation of transmition pulseFirstly, the analytical foundation is constructed by Gaussian pulse waveform design. Secondly, based on the use of an evolutionary computation algorithm– PSO, it aids global optimization of the transmittion pulse and redesign of a UWB pulse transmitter. Finally, the simulation of waveform generated via interference noise on the pulse and circuit experiment facilitate the generalized applications for product demands. Thereby it speeds up the pace of molding UWB transmitter circuit.3. Study on UWB multiple transmitter multiple receiversA UWB multiple transmitter multiple receiver system must satisfy requirements of communication quality and rate. Besides it has to be adapted to the capacity under different channel conditions. However, these goals often conflict with each other. In the thesis, machine learning and improved PSO algorithm are utilized for searching the suboptimal solution or global optimal solution. Lastly, a global distribution optimized programming model is established for the good of effective UWB multiple transmitter multiple receiver system.4 .Multi-user detection optimization technology based on computational intelligenceThe computational complexity of a sub-optimal multiuser detector is studied in this chapter. Then an investigation is conducted into multi-user detection method based on quantum discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm combined with ultra-wideband communication technologies. By means of MATLAB, simulation on comparing the performance of the algorithm reveals that this scheme can alleviate multiple access interference and increase the probability of correct decisions for the purpose of reducing the system bit error rate.
