Generally speaking, it varies on supply of teachers in the different process of the development of secondary education who calls for more teachers to meet the demand when in rapid expansion and need high-quality teachers to be settled for the needs when in the stage of stable development. The system of higher pedagogical education inclined to be closed type when secondary education need more teachers, be opened tpye when secondary education calls for high-quality teachers. The system of higher pedagogical education follows the development tendency that from closed tpye to opened type, which has been proved by the development process of the higher pedagogical education of the United States and other countries. But the development of the higher pedagogical education of China has taken on a different look, it looks like pendular movement who makes the to-and-fro movement that from the system of closed type the opened type.In the Late time of Qing Dynasty and the Early time of Republic of China, People has set up the closed type of system of the higher pedagogical education which called the "Mode of Japan",on the basics which from the importation of the system of the higher pedagogical education in Japan. In 1920s, People has set up the opened type of system that called "the Mode of U.S.A", based on the importation of the system of the higher pedagogical education in U.S.A. Unfortunately, "the Mode of U.S.A" couldnot meet the the demand of secondary education who ask for a large number of teacher instead of high-quality teachers. Of course, the secondary education also need high-quality teachers, but they put more emphasis on the amounts. Thus, the system of "Teachers College" which tried to resume the system of the closed type launched in late 1930s.In 1950s, people set up a closed type of system called "the Mode of the Soviet Union" in the backdrop of the current of learning from Russia", and "the Mode of Soviet Union" which be destroyed in "the Cultural Revolution" give great impetus to the secondary education by training a great number of teacher. After "the Cultural Revolution ", people set up the mode of system called" the Mode with Chinese Characteristics" based on the Shift of attention which turned from foreign to domestic, from copying the system of foreign to establish our own mode with caring more for China's basic conditions. In the early years of 21th century, with the importation of the thought of Life-long Education and Teacher Professionalism, the system mode of teacher education with "Chinese-style" come into being which is being established by putting great emphasis on the diversification of secondary education requirements on teacher-training.By the Review and Analysis on the Evolution History of the system of China's higher pedagogical education, we could get the conclusion that the changing of the fame of higher pedagogical education should be based on a comprehensive analysis of teacher demand of secondary education. Only by doing this, could we get the success both in higher pedagogical education and secondary education. It is of great importance to the construction of the system of "Chinese-style" teacher education. This paper consists three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction explains for research current situation, the aim and value of the study, visual angle and method, the structure of thesis, innovation of thesis. The text has five chapters respectively dealing with the process of different type of mode of the system of the higher pedagogical education in different periods, "the Mode of Japan", "the Mode of U.S.A", "the Mode of Soviet Union" and "the Mode with Chinese Characteristics", the system of "Chinese-style" teacher education. The conclusion discusses the pendular movement in the history of China's higher pedagogical education, and the future of "Chinese-style" teacher education.
