Montessori, a most popular female educator of the 20th century, is well known for her perspective and technique on education which dominated with great amount of impact throughout the world. By observing at today's Montessori education in mainland China and Taiwan, numerous kindergartens not only appear different ways of teaching methods but also use Montessori education's name as a way to gain profit. The only way to explain this type of educational situation is educator's lack of knowledge on Montessori system of teaching.Montessori implements the sensory education as a medium of education, a series of work materials which is arranged and designed to improve mentality and intellect for early childhood development. Montessori believed that sensory education is not only the foundation of developing higher standard spiritual activities, but also is the basis of motivating personal developments; and studying must be developed through a perceptional and sensorial progress. Therefore the foundation of basic sensory education must be based on the practicing practical exercises. By concentrating on the early childhood development (3-6 years old), Montessori's sensory education connect the use of language, math, and culture. Montessori deeply believed that the cognition and sensory can not be separated, because the development of cognition must build and form through sensatory. Therefore, the sensory education is most important factor in enrich the development of intellect and mentality.Based on the above research, the researchers realized the importance of cognition for Montessori's sensorial education to acknowledge why one kind of Montessori educating approach comes out with hundreds of different teaching styles and outcomes. Therefore, researcher arise with the motives to:1. Learn the principle of Montessori's education for educators as a reference on education,2. Discuss the meanings and ideas of Montessori's education,3. Evaluate the theory of Montessori's sensory education,4. And grasp kindergarten educators' knowledge on Montessori education.According to the above motive, the purpose of this research is to:1. Perceive the principle of Montessori's education,2. Evaluate Montessori's sensory education,3. Acknowledge educators' understanding of Montessori's education,4. And provide educational information to educators who are interested to have a deep understanding of Montessori's education.According to the above research of motive and purpose, depictions and interviews are adopted to organize and compare with original work of Montessori and the books and magazines published by others based on their view of Montessori's work. To acknowledge kindergarten teachers' understanding of the ideas on Montessori education, eight kindergarten educators will be interviewed to discuss their point of view on Montessori's education and possible reasons which would influence it.
