This present dissertation is made of two part, one part is on the theory of teaching reform in classroom. The other part is about the practice of teaching reform in the classroom .On the beginning of this dissertation ,the practice of teaching reform in classroom is annotated deep into four aspects on what and why and which and how the practice of teaching reform go on ,and promulgate the nature of teaching reform in classroom .Then full view the process of the practice .And then the social nature and function of teaching reform in classroom is discussed . The classroom is a special society .The sociology bring the new visual angle to reform the social association and mutually influence human relation and change the construction of the organization and space , enhance the conformity of the knowledge in classroom . The macroscopic dynamic social reason of the practice in teaching reform in classroom is analyzed and the change of inner construction of classroom is studied .And harmonize the contradiction of individual socialization and individual characterization in teaching reform .The pedagogy and economics have different ideas and visual angle .The theory of capital investment hold that teaching in the classroom is the process of an individual economical value to be achieved .On the opinion of the economics ,the quality of teaching is the condition of how the teaching tasks finished and how students master the teaching content, and the efficiency of the teaching is the quantity and speed and quality and economization of the teaching .From the pedagogy, it is considered that the teaching is that of human being and the humanitarianism is the basic principle of teaching reform in classroom .The quality of teaching is the condition of students actively attend the study in the classroom and build their knowledge structures in mind .The efficiency of teaching is the condition of improvement and development of students understanding which come near the development areas . Tf s required to harmonize economic reality and pedagogy* s ideal .This present dissertation studies the overall problem of confliction and harmony on teaching reform in classroom from the aspects of the history and the value and the behaviour and the psychology and the relationship and the administration and the teaching program and the assessment and the overall analysis of patient condition .The purpose is to elaborate a new theory of the practice in teaching reform which is about confliction and harmony.This theory hold that there are plenty of confliction in the teaching reform practice in classroom ,The direct reason that cause the problem in teaching reform practice is that people misunderstand the confliction and dislocate the practice .The nature of teaching reform practice is pick and choose advantage of any side of the confliction .The behavior of practical teaching reform in classroom is reject and negate the traditional ideas The ideal teaching reform practice should conquer all the condition which are partial and unilateral and extreme and unbalance and becoming estranged ,and at last come to the state of harmony. There are three stages to reach the harmony which are full-scale and balance and harmony. The harmony is the highest state of teaching reform practice. . And 'For Students Overall Development ' run through the course to realize harmony and reform teaching in classroom .It will be long?term to go on the teachingreform in classroom. .It should continue go forward from the partial to the overall ,form the extreme to the balance ,form the harmony to the new and higher harmony.The second part of this dissertation look back nearly twenty years' history of classroom teaching reform practice in Nanjing .we systematize and summarize experience and result of the theory and practice in teaching reform in Nanjing .and generalize its basic feature.
